I came across this is little story today, it's not breaking news. I suspect that a member of the housekeeping staff knows something about the bomb threat that required the sweep for weapons.

QuoteAccording to police in Secaucus, the bomb threat — which later was determined to be bogus — was called in to Hudson Regional Hospital on July 18. During a search, bomb detection dogs led investigators to an unlocked office closet containing dozens of firearms.
Among the weapons were 11 handguns and 27 rifles or shotguns, according to police. The closet also contained a .45 caliber semi-automatic rifle with a high-capacity magazine that was determined to be an assault rifle, and a 14-round high-capacity handgun magazine.
The arrested the guy the next day.
What the heck do you think this guy was doing? It sounds very ominous that he was keeping those weapons there.
subee said:And it's increasingly difficult to find foster families. Infants used to be easy but even they are becoming difficult. Kids in foster homes always had to wait months to see a psychiatrist and now they are on waiting lists just to see any type of therapist. The large majority of these kids end up homeless. Their traumas are too numerous for the system to make a difference. So I can't take any anti-abortionist as a serious person until they have either taken a kid or have worked in the system. They are willfully ignorant of the suffering they create for kids.
I have occasionally asked some of the more sanctimonious forced pregnancy advocates how many unwanted children they have taken in. Mostly I got crickets. One exceptionally pompous male huffily replied with a supremely libertarian refusal to be responsible for someone else's children - even to save their lives. Funny how that works, innit?

Yeah. I've often asked some of my democrat friends how much they have given for reparations? Or how many migrants they've allowed to live in their homes and back yard?
Mostly I got crickets. Then accused of being a racist, anti- immigrant homophobe.

I tried to find some Democrat friends but I couldn't find where the klan rallies were being held.
QuoteMinority Leader Mitch McConnell and other Senate Republicans lashed out at conservative Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Tuesday after he characterized the deadly Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol as "mostly peaceful chaos."
At a GOP leadership news conference, McConnell, R-Ky., said he wanted to align himself with the letter sent to the U.S. Capitol Police force by Capitol Police Chief Thomas Manger, who denounced Carlson for spreading "offensive and misleading conclusions" about the insurrection on Jan. 6, 2021, including a "disturbing accusation" that Officer Brian Sicknick's death had nothing to do with the riot.
Mitch McConnell can call it a insurrection. Can you call it an insurrection, @Roitrn?

So now you're a Mitch fan boy?

Yes. It was an insurrection. One of the most weak, meagerly organized 4 hr insurrection in modern history. And probably the least armed insurrection in all of history. With no bullets fired. Where the participants mostly had no idea they were involved in a insurrection, what they were doing and too emotionally weak to resist mob rule.
But. An insurrection none the less. And those who committed violence have and should be charged.
Your turn. Can you Call the domestic terrorist attack a domestic terrorist attack on police in Georga?

Apparently there are neo- nazi white nationals everywhere. Maybe you can ask them where the Klan meeting is?

It's good that you've changed your mind about calling it an insurrection. It's interesting that your next descriptors seemed to minimize the event. Which of our insurrections was better organized?
There was a bullet fired. Some Republicans view the woman shot by police that day as some sort of martyr.
I already acknowledged that the violence in Georgia was charged as domestic terrorism.
Did you think that last bit about the Klan was funny? What were you implying?

My son is married to an immigrant. Does that count?
I'm suspicious of a story that calls people your Democrat friends and then says that those friends accused you of being a racist, anti-immigrant homophobe after you asked them a couple of rude and dumb questions. The whole thing seems contrived.

What? Are you kidding? My only family's experiences have been quite the opposite.
