I came across this is little story today, it's not breaking news. I suspect that a member of the housekeeping staff knows something about the bomb threat that required the sweep for weapons.

QuoteAccording to police in Secaucus, the bomb threat — which later was determined to be bogus — was called in to Hudson Regional Hospital on July 18. During a search, bomb detection dogs led investigators to an unlocked office closet containing dozens of firearms.
Among the weapons were 11 handguns and 27 rifles or shotguns, according to police. The closet also contained a .45 caliber semi-automatic rifle with a high-capacity magazine that was determined to be an assault rifle, and a 14-round high-capacity handgun magazine.
The arrested the guy the next day.
What the heck do you think this guy was doing? It sounds very ominous that he was keeping those weapons there.

It wasn’t Trump that kept Missiles out of Poland. It wasn’t Trump who gave Ukraine blankets instead of weapons. It wasn’t Trump caught on a hot mic telling the Russian President he’d have more flexibility after the election. Trump wasn’t the one laughing when Romney said Russia was a threat.
You seem to have a poor understanding of what Putin was doing while Trump was blackmailing Zelensky for the already agreed upon military aid... it's like you didn't watch poor cowed Trump pander to Putin in Helsinki and you don't have a care in the world about the secrecy surrounding their conversation before Trump walked out looking very much like he should have been wearing a collar with the leash in Putin's hand. The body language was obvious even before he told the world that he believed Putin rather than his own intelligence agency reporting. What was Trump doing speaking privately with Putin all of those times? Why didn't they want anyone to know what was said? I don't trust liars and conmen... most of us don't... do you?

Yes, they are... Trump encourages that using Q coded language and music. Why don't you know this?
I see that Tweety beat me to this response and citation.

I do wish you all a Merry Christmas for those that celebrate. In that spirit I'll bow out a few days.
Deflection and projection are well used tools when conservatives try to defend Trump's deep and disqualifying character flaws and corruption. Trump himself is a habitual user of projection. It's always a bit surprising to me that some health professionals are blinded to this rather obvious use of this process of projection.

Quotecuously, they also seem to fundamentally misunderstand its meaning. They seem to think treason is about personal disloyalty. But the charge of treason is actually about betrayal of the national interest in pursuit of self-interest - a definition that may hit closer to home in this administration, according to Avion.
In line with Avion's remarks, a number of others perceive the psychological self-defense mechanism known as projection may be at work.
"Never has a president been so gifted at projection, the psychological tic by which a person divines in others what’s so deeply embedded in himself." (Source: New York Times)
"Trump just can't handle truths about himself... The president’s reckless rhetoric reveals a stubborn habit psychologists describe as 'projection." (Source: USA Today)
"Everything President Trump accuses his opponents of doing can be understood in one of two ways: as projection or a confession." (Source: New York Post)
"Simply put, Trump consistently projects his own worst shortcomings and sins onto others." (Source: Newsweek)
QuotePerceptions of projection may or not may not be correct, of course, just as projection itself involves distorted perception. What, exactly, is projection? This self-serving perception makes individuals feel better about themselves by thinking they detect their own qualities in other people. This might create a sense of strength in numbers as if a silent or invisible majority would agree with them or behave similarly. In that case, it could offer reassurance through a perception of traits either good or bad.
More often, though, people project their worst inclinations onto other people as a way to keep from feeling bad about them. Projection downplays the importance of our worst aspects by casting them onto our perceptions of others, letting unfavorable features seem socially acceptable as if they're commonplace. Projection only fits if, at least unconsciously, Trump either committed treason or somehow sees treason in his own way of doing things. Some people feel he has, but this question is about what he personally perceives in himself and thus projects onto others.
Does Trump unconsciously know that he's wrong and lying? Yes... or he's completely delusional and detached from reality. Either way, he's a dishonest and dishonorable liar and cheat who tried to overturn the 2020 electing results with a violent mob that should be held accountable rather than held up for another election.

It must be really difficult for you to be confronted with details about Trump's dishonesty and corruption... that's the impression you leave.
My comprehension lacks on your posts because you provide no proof of your claims. Where is all this corruption you talk about that is not just your conjecture.

I said previously that there is nothing on those tax returns that I need to see. I'm a little leery about releasing people's tax returns unless it's a requirement for the job BUT, if they are used in a trial to prove a crime, let it rip.
