I came across this is little story today, it's not breaking news. I suspect that a member of the housekeeping staff knows something about the bomb threat that required the sweep for weapons.

QuoteAccording to police in Secaucus, the bomb threat — which later was determined to be bogus — was called in to Hudson Regional Hospital on July 18. During a search, bomb detection dogs led investigators to an unlocked office closet containing dozens of firearms.
Among the weapons were 11 handguns and 27 rifles or shotguns, according to police. The closet also contained a .45 caliber semi-automatic rifle with a high-capacity magazine that was determined to be an assault rifle, and a 14-round high-capacity handgun magazine.
The arrested the guy the next day.
What the heck do you think this guy was doing? It sounds very ominous that he was keeping those weapons there.
Arizona Is in a Race to the Bottom of Its Water Wells, With Saudi Arabia’s Help https://nyti.ms/3Gi5T6V
QuoteArizona’s water is running worryingly low. Amid the worst drought in more than a millennium, which has left communities across the state with barren wells, the state is depleting what remains of its precious groundwater. Much of it goes to private companies nearly free, including Saudi Arabia’s largest dairy company.
"Unlimited" amounts of water...
QuoteThe Saudi farm scandal may have helped to spotlight the severity of Arizona’s water crisis, but the state will have to go further to address the root cause. Arizona needs to apply groundwater pumping regulations across the entire state, not just in its metropolitan areas. It won’t be easy. This year special interest groups scuttled a far more modest effort that would have allowed rural communities to opt in to groundwater enforcement. In all likelihood, when these groups have to pay fair prices for water, they will have to give up on growing water-hungry crops like alfalfa in the desert. This kind of race-to-the-bottom approach to water in Arizona is insupportable today, if it ever was.
Arizona is one of the last places in the United States that should be reckless with its water resources. The state is dependent on the Colorado River, which has been depleted by overuse and climate change and hit extreme lows this year. Water managers from seven states in the river basin failed in August to meet a federal deadline to make dramatic reductions. As a result, the Bureau of Reclamation ordered Arizona to cut its use of water from the river by 21 percent. Arizona’s cities and rural areas alike are at risk if they lose access to Colorado River water only to find their groundwater reserves sucked dry, too.
We will see refugees from lack of water right here in our own country if we don't get smarter about this.
To make matters worse Arizona has experienced a lot of growth the last few decades.
Another topic altogether is the water resources used by animal agriculture as noted in the article above regarding the dairy farm.
QuoteIn the United States alone, animal agriculture water consumption ranges from 36-74 trillion gallons of water annually. To put that in perspective, hydraulic fracturing (fracking) uses about 70-140 billion gallons annually.

I'm not a vegetarian but eat primarily a plant based diet most days. I analyzed my nutrition a week ago using the app Chronometer and am meeting all my needs except for B12 and Vitamin D which I supplement. I think moving away from animal products would be tremendously helpful to the planet.

We also have moved significantly away from animal proteins. My Ukrainian and Middle Eastern family depend much less upon meat in their daily nutrition. A good percentage of the animal protein that we consume is harvested from the wild. I'm not certain how much longer I will be able to provide that but younger hunters will share with us for awhile.

Now the fellow is admitting to the lies...
Sort of...
It appears that this fellow may not know the difference between reality and fiction.
Do you think that he should be sworn in after getting elected based upon lies?
You have a commander in chief that has done nothing but lie throughout his career about his accomplishments and you complain about this guy?

I see that Tweety beat me to this response and citation.
Because it’s left wing nut job stuff.
QuoteI didn’t graduate from any institution of higher learning. I’m embarrassed and sorry for having embellished my resume," he told the Post. "I own up to that…We do stupid things in life."
At least he's admitting his lies but says he's not a criminal. My guess is it will blow over and people won't really care.

At least he didn’t claim to be Native American and steal a job from a deserving minority.

Regardless, you deflected from the topic at hand with the old "I'm going to deflect and not discuss the topic at hand and merely point out that Biden is worse and you're a hypocrite" thing.

Another deflection from the topic at hand. SOP for you.

Sure sure...nice projection in defense of a liar and conman. Do you defend liars by pointing at others in face to face encounters too, or only when you are trolling on-line nursing forums?
