I just got accepted into the FNP MSN-E program at Western University of Health Sciences. Has anyone gone through this program? If so, could you please share what you liked and disliked about the program. Any feedback would be helpful.
Thank you!

:uhoh3::uhoh3:Help! I am trying to figure out if Western University BSN is actually an Accredited school!?! Does the BSN have any limitations as far as me getting a job somewhere? Do they train us really good for the NCLEX? I really want to stay in CA, but what if later on in life I want to get my MSN....?? and for some reason the University rejects it!?
:uhoh3: If any NURSE or COUSELOR knows the answer I would greatly appreciate it!
Im nervous about spending lots of money for the Western University Ontario CA program....is it for sure worth it!?
I can handle big loads, but for the graduates or other nurses, is it going to allow me to get a job almost anywhere I would want later on in life!?
:uhoh3:
I could REALLY use the help esp for people that have already graduated!
THANKS SO MUCH!!!:):)
Western University of Health Sciences is in Pomona, not Ontario. It is accredited by the CA Board of RNs. Did you mean another school because they, WUHS, only offer graduate degrees.

Hi,
I think you are referring to West Coast University, Not Western University of Health Sciences. WCU is a new program. I used to be in that program but it is way over priced and has increased from the original $116,000 tuition to something greater. I have friends still in their program and they are in clinical rotations now.
From what I know, they are CCNE accredited in Los Angeles Campus. Not sure about Ontario or Anaheim Campus. You'll have to check with the school you may want to get your masters from.

OK, yes I am VERY sorry, it is West Coast University. I know the LA campus has been around for a lot longer, but on their website it does say that they are accreditied by all the nursing leagues. I know the school is expensive but it was lowered for me since I had a lot of the "pre reqs" complete.
Are you friends happy with the program that are still in it!? I would really like to know your opinion on it. The ontario campus is new, so I havent really gotten a chance to talk to any students from there. If they are happy and they feel that I they are learning the material, and the teachers are helping them then thats all I want to know about! I hope to hear back from you!
Thanks again!
