  1. I am currently in the 5th week of classes, and i'm doing very well, but that can mostly be attributed to the fact that i already had a master's in nursing going in. I am looking at possibly transferring to a program that is not only local, but shorter and cheaper. I do like the support and class structure, but it's hard to justify the cost. I really don't like that i was told i can get credit for 8 hours, but then when i was accepted I was told that since it went toward my degree i can't. Any suggestions?
  2. I'm looking into the FNP post master's program. I have a MSN from another university and just submitted my application. I have several preceptors lined up so i'm ok there. I would start in April. I have been accepted to Simmons college and the cost is 3x what ONU is. The good thing is that they have live sessions and guided classes, but i have to repeat 6-8 of them and still pay for them. which is a lot. I"m wondering if people really like this program. I do live in Illinois and I am very used to an online based class program- so i'm not worried there. Any advice about this program?
  3. Hey guys, I am in cohort VIII and I was at early acceptance day to help out the future students. I just want to say, do not dispare if you haven't heard back yet, it does take them a while to get through applications after interviews. I know it's hard, but try to be patient. The best advice I can give you is to keep with it and remember to update the college of any new classes, volunteer work or payed work that you are doing. Every little bit helps! Good luck to everyone
  4. I went to Hansen and looked you need to go to the financial aid section and follow the instructions before they let you accept your award letter. I just finished that part and I'm still waiting for my award letter
  5. You don't need to get another HepB vaccine if you got one when you were younger, do you? I'm still waiting to get my health requirements sheet.
  6. I didn't need shots, I got the titers and I'm up to date. I'll go over the requirements again and make sure before I move. Does anyone have any suggestions for apartments? I need one that's pet friendly.
  7. FYI: I have never been as sick as I was after the DTap. Be careful and watch out for the fever and headache. It was tourture.
  8. I already did all that this past fall and got my dtap. I just need the TB thing and I'm good. It was required for my volunter work. Lucky me
