  1. Hi RJGRhere and Suzygreenberg, I did decide to attent Olivet for my FNP. So far things have been fine. As NerdyNikki said, they have made a lot of changes to their curriculum and I now have no doubt that it is up to the same standards as other schools. I am set to gradaute in May of 2016. Being an accelerated program, at times it is time consuming, but I think its worth it. I am working full time, as are all of my classmates that I know of at this time. When clinicals start that may have to change, we will see. NerdyNikki, how did everything go? Are you a FNP now? How was boards? I hope you had good luck and have landed a new job by now :) Thanks again for your initial reply.
  2. Thank you for your reply, it was informative and actually very helpful!
  3. Ladydi RN, Thank you for your reply. I tried to look up passing rates for various schools and not all of them are published. Having gone through Olivet's program- do you know what their passing rate is? Were there a lot of your classmates that have not passed the exam? What are the issues students are having in finishing the program, is it just looking for preceptors? Do you feel like the classes Olivet offers prepare you adequately for the FNP exam? Or not really? Thank you again for your response, I really appreciate it.
  4. Hi! I'm looking at FNP programs. What have you heard about Olivet Nazarene University? I've heard great things so far. The only thing I'm a little worried about is the curriculum; it looks like there aren't as many core FNP classes as there are in other programs. Has anyone gone through their FNP program? Have any insight? Thanks!
