  1. Hey guys! I'm a WesternU nursing student from cohort 8. Can't believe it's been a year since I had my own interview. Good luck to all of you!
  2. I'm not quite sure ilnurse15. What I'm quite sure of is that we all need to get out titers first. If they turn out positive for immunity then we don't need immunizations
  3. Hey bblue11. I got my hepa b and rubella titers at western u. Those two cost $30. You can get more info by calling western u's med plaza.
  4. Hi guys! Sorry but I can't help but respond to your posts. Western univ DOES help you obtain a clinical for RN or NP portion. I clarified that with jacob over and over. Good luck on deciding!
  5. Hi Michelle! Good thinking... I also deposited as soon as I found out I got accepted. Better safe than sorry right? I choose western u over csula because I found out that csula can't assure that you can get into the FNP prog. And also I guess I am a little biased because I feel more taken cared of in a private school. They answer my questions promptly and clearly. Also I didn't mind that it was more expensive because csula is only $30-40k cheaper. Did you get in csula? Btw have you applied for fafsa yet? I dont get how stafford loans are connected to it
  6. Do you guys know if we need a laptop? I kinda only want and can afford a netbook...
  7. Sadly I will be commuting everyday. It's a 43 minute drive
  8. Oh that is quite far. I agree with you. It's a little scary not knowing what to expect but I am so excited too! I live in Glendale right now. I used to live in the Pomona area actually. I used to live in chino hills. You'll love the area
  9. I was interviewed on the 29th, but I'm not the girl you're talking about. She was sitting right next to me that day. The drive from Anaheim won't be that bad actually. Lucky you!
  10. Congrats shars! I know exactly what you mean. I'm glad the whole waiting is over. Where are you moving from?
  11. Oh yes I do think the traffic will be in my favor on school days. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. My parents actually used to live in chino hills which is 10 mins from westernu. I hope you find a great place bblue11!
  12. Wow I am soo amazed we have the same reasons for picking WesternU over CSULA! Thank you! Oh do ask me about anything regarding the application and interview process, I'd be happy to help :)
  13. Steve and Ted where do you guys live right now? Im gonna be driving from Glendale to pomona everyday
  14. Hey bblue11. Sorry I just saw your question in the other forum. Were you asking for the link to banweb? Or were you just having trouble logging in? I did have a problem logging in at first. Go back to the email they sent us about logging in to banweb because there will be a number you can contact if you are having problems. I called them and they fixed my lOgin info right away. Hope that helps
  15. Hello! It seems western u is the best choice for me. Why did you choose western u? I'm probably gonna be commuting from glendale
