No, his labs were fine. He was just a hungry adolescent boy who has since settled down. I actually know him, and he was just preparing to grow four inches in height. He slept a lot, too.

Being 5'3", i am so jealous of this kid! Eating without worry then growing a few inches. I wish!

Sometimes I wonder if members search through this site for things to criticize. It makes me weary to ever post anything on this site knowing there is someone waiting to post something negative about it!
I like this site because it allows me to communicate and exchange stories with peers.
peace!

Teenage and tween boys can be gross, so I get the point of the entire OP.
I don't have any patient stories, but I'm sure I could come up with a few thousand about my sons. In fact, I could go really puerile and talk about how they announce their farts. I also grew up with three older brothers. Boy, that was fun.

I understand where you're coming from but I'm sorry...someone asking for specific "gross" stories that only involve teenage boys makes my creep radar go off.
I don't mean to be harsh. I have a teenage stepson though. Maybe its just the mama bear in me.

*** @ this thread... I just think the OP is a girl born in '97 and is at the age where she's a little curious about teenage boys... at least I hope so...

Why don't you have a seat over there, please.

That makes sense, I didn't think of it from a mom point of view. I'm only two years past being a teenager.

Is that aimed at me? And i know your just trying to prove a point, but i would find that disturbing too if a male nurse asked me that question. And i like how the OP put this up and has not come back to say anything more about it.

Sorry if I came across that way. It was not aimed at you. I was agreeing with you and with that I mentioned if
the roles were reversed it would be creepy as well.

not a patient, but a funny "teenage boy" story nonetheless.
my 16 year old dad was on one of his first dates and all was going well. until... they stopped to sit on a park bench in the town square. they smooched a bit, admired the stars... and my dad's silly side kicked in and he began pretending to reach out and catch flies and eat them. funny until he really got into it and actually popped one in and had to hurry up and swallow fast!
you have to remember this was the gold fish swallowing champ at a well known ivy league school four or five years later.
