Hi! Who is applying to Weatherford for the spring 2011 semester?
I took the TEAS yesterday and didn't do as well as I was hoping. I am going to retake it and hopefully then I will have 18 or 19 points. It seems that the point system has changed and is only 23 possible points now, rather than 26.
I really don't know if 18 or 19 will be enough, but I haven't completed Micro so that is going to hurt me. I figure it is worth a try though! You can't win if you don't play! lol.
So who else is applying? How many points does everyone have?
Sherri167, have you heard anything about the alt list? Like where you are at on it or anything like that? I'm sure it would help if TCC would send out their letters.

A few weeks ago KL told me they had called one alternate in. I have my grades posted now, so I plan to drop them by this week and find out if any more have been called. KL said not to expect much till the end of May - June. Then again at orientation when people just don't show up.
I got a partial scholarship, so I HOPE I have something to apply it to!!
If I don't get called, I got an A in my second A&P so I jumped up from a 16 pointer to an 18 pointer if I have to apply again. But if I do, I'll be applying at other schools too, TCC being one of them. I will not be happy about taking another entrance exam.
Did you take CHEM, ALG or the math 1332? Any tips for me? I am just getting started?
I took college algebra and chem. I have been taking classes at TCC and I am really trying to get into their program because of where I live. My only advice would be to make sure you take the five extra classes so you dont loose
I'm baacck! I just knew that TCC would have notified by now! I know that some more will be called of the WC list as soon as they send their letters out. anyone speak to WC lately?
Hopefully the wait for those of you on the Alternate list won't be much longer. It's rumored that TCC placed their letters in the mail this morning. That could mean that WC's Alternate list will see some movement this week or next. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you guys!! :)
I am hoping the TCC students get their letters, notify WC soon. Then the deadline for the drug tests is soon, by that date I figure we will see some movement. If people are going to another school, I doubt they would pay money for a drug test and all. Sherri, not too much longer I hope!!
