Hi! Who is applying to Weatherford for the spring 2011 semester?
I took the TEAS yesterday and didn't do as well as I was hoping. I am going to retake it and hopefully then I will have 18 or 19 points. It seems that the point system has changed and is only 23 possible points now, rather than 26.
I really don't know if 18 or 19 will be enough, but I haven't completed Micro so that is going to hurt me. I figure it is worth a try though! You can't win if you don't play! lol.
So who else is applying? How many points does everyone have?
StudentCL: that's the thing with WC. According to their point system I should have 21. On the prereqs it says ap I&II, Micro and either chem or algebra. I have an A in alg and B in chem. so if they count algebra for the points instead of chem I will get the max points for prereq GPA.
TCC is less forgiving though. My A in algebra counts for nothing. That's why I'm so worried about my 3.25 in the sciences.
I'm probably gonna have to find a new job b/c my job now does not want me to work part time. And summer school is gonna kill me. working 8-6 then school 6-10.
And if you have 21 points, that is excellent. You should feel confident that you will get in at WC. If the Hesi is a little easier than the TEAS, you will probably do fine on that and have a pretty good shot at getting in at TCC also....especially if you retake chem. I had a C, 2 B's, and an A and was able to get in to WC, and I have a decent shot at getting into TCC but of course we are still waiting on them. I did well on my TEAS too. I wouldn't suggest making the grades I did, but it is possible for sure. lol.

I am applying to the spring semester as well for WC. The thing that worries me is I heard that they only take 20 for the spring semester. Is that true??? I think they took 40 for the fall. I feel like we should up our points since they only take half the seats.
Any opinions??? info????
