waiting for the results of June 2008 local board exam

hello... guys well i took the board last december 2005... believe me december board exam by that has a lot more pressure beacause by that time results are released in a matter of 2 -3 weeks.. i took the board dec 3 and 4 and the results are released dec 22 3 days before christmas. so at the back of my mind by the time i am waiting.. i said to my self that i need to pass this exam beacuse if i didnt, that will be the most depressing chirstmas i am goin to experience. thank god i passed with the help of our mighty one i passed the exam.. fyi i took and passed the board dec 4, 2005 and last year i took me nclex dec 4, 2007 and i passed it again and this time i'm planning to take my ielts dec 4, 2008 trying my birthday luck hahhahaha....well my advised is that even the salary in the hospital is much lower than other fields even if you are underboard start applying in the hospitals as nursing assistant that someday or luckily you passed the board, you will not have having a hard time looking for a job because you are "in" already all you need to do is advance your position as an RN....this is if you are planning or gaing experience ahead...

June 2007 passer here. You know what I did to keep myself busy? I always surf the net all day and night. Just reading. That is how I got here in allnurses.com. hahaha.... Dont keep yourself busy with those hearsay. Why dont you just pray. Review or just relax. enjoy what you really want to do. After 4 years studying, and months of review, you deserve a rest! Just wait for it... I bet the result will still be out in August same as last year. Just my guess... Cheer up!

I know it just came upon me and I am thankful for it.

Know what you want and keep a picture of it in your mind and the universe, God or whoever you consider this to be will assist you.

If you do not know what you want you will never achieve anything and make sure you are always grateful for what you have, because gratitude is the key to success.

If you are not grateful it is like receiving a gift and complaining, the giver will not want to give you another but if you are grateful, even if you do not like it, then there will be more gifts to come.

This is something so many people miss in todays society, full of greed, dissatisfaction with their circumstances or life in general.

It is so easy to find someone who is worse off than we are and if we compare ourselves with them rather than someone who is better off than us we will always be grateful

It is also easy to complain and find fault but difficult to respect the decisions of others and anyway who are we to judge what is best for the other person. How do we know how their decisions in life will turn out. We do not understand the workings of the world even though we might think we do.

Many people have succeeded when others suggested they will fail and others have failed when others thought or suggested they would be successful. How do we really know.

The best we can do is to keep a clear picture of what we want and to do everything each day we can do the best we can do it and the result will then be the best that it can be.

No one can interfere with this,it is our choice and our right to decide what we want in life, and even if we encounter obstacles,they are just directions to point us in the right direction so we can achieve our dreams.

SO DREAM EVERYONE AND FOLLOW THE DREAM WHERE IT TAKE YOU.

The result is wonderful and you are in complete control, because your mind controls everything.

i'm one of the nursing graduates who took the board exam last june 2008. and now there are a lot of rumors about the passing rate of the exam. some even say that only 30% pass:scrying: and that july 20 is the day when the results will be released. of course none of them are true so far but rumors like this increases my anxiety level and its so frustrating because you can't do anything but wait. helpful tips anyone? thanks.

It is almost the end of the day and no results yet. I think it will be release anytime during the last week of July. That will be another week of waiting. Good luck to all.

I took the local board last june 2007. and the results came out aug. 26. But from the time i took until august... i kept praying. asking for God's strenght... God knows if you deserve to pass or not.. just keep your faith up. If you did ur part then you'll be fine. I hate when people say I passed but i didnt study hard that much. those are the people who are arrogant and self-centered. just prayed. because thats what i did. And i passed. but also i did my part. i listen to my reviewers as well as I read textbooks... so hopefully everything will be allright with you...and those that deserves it..well good luck those that took last june 2008!

Hi everyone just to let you know...the June 2007 NLE results have been posted online tonight.... congratulations to those who passed....

my girlfriend failed for the 3rd time on the nle..i dont know whats with the exam and she keeps on failing..any tips you could give so i could share it with her..She has a part time job right now and she cant decide wether she'll be taking the exam on nov or next year...

thats too sad for your girlfriend. i hope she dont give on nle. i have a classmate who attempted to take nle for 5th time and happy to know at last she passed the exam. the only thing i can impart that will somehow help her is to have a sense of direction on what and where to start to study, have goals and determination and discipline in terms of studying and above all have faith and entrust everything to GOD but be sure she did her part too.
