I took the local board last june 2007. and the results came out aug. 26. But from the time i took until august... i kept praying. asking for God's strenght... God knows if you deserve to pass or not.. just keep your faith up. If you did ur part then you'll be fine. I hate when people say I passed but i didnt study hard that much. those are the people who are arrogant and self-centered. just prayed. because thats what i did. And i passed. but also i did my part. i listen to my reviewers as well as I read textbooks... so hopefully everything will be allright with you...and those that deserves it..well good luck those that took last june 2008!

they dont have the right to stop because education is a privileged of every Filipino. What they should do is to really monitor the schools making sure that nursing student meet the academic requirement like set up a higher quota to be able o put to the next level. and in the board exam, change the passing policy: no grade below 60 but with an average of 75. Make it no grade below 75 and an average of 83%. something like that. because it is in every Filipino the privilege to study as long as he can afford the financial requirements.

well, i can say that each person deserves a better life. so we are up to the challenge. I am an undergrad when i studied for my BSN. i find it unfair because they will just study for 2 years. but the thing is they and well as every one else aspire of better life. so maybe the board of nursing doesn't have the right to stop them from taking the course but what they can do is to have them take the regular course which is the ffour or five year course of BSN. Everyone deserved a better life! if you think you can leave your profession as a dcotor to have greener pastuer then it is your prerogative.. Nurses just have to find ways to eliminate competitions!

Dont be up tight in your time of study. remember you should have your own pacing. dont panic about time. you should make your own plan so that you wont feel choking or cramming. chill! ok? then you will do just fine. My advise to you is that you need have to make sacrifices. coz if you did one, then you'll surely get what have you bargain for. i hope i can help....

i believe cellphones is an advantage to you and to your work. all you have to do is to have to phones: one for your personal stuff and the other is for work. keep your work phone turned on when working because you know that if it rings or have an incoming mesages then its definitely work related. so you know that you wont be disturbed meaninglessly.after duty time then you can switch on your personal phone. maybe its kinda expensive to have to phones. maybe you can have two simcards instead of two phones.. to use cellpones while working that is a different sotry already that is being unprofessional and rude to your patient and your co-workers...

Well, Hi! i dont have a SSN, so what will I do then?I will be taking my nclex this january. I will be doing everything to passed the test. lets just say i pass the test. what will be my next move? I mean since the validity as what I read in suzzane posting, that the letter will be valid only for 3 years and since the US in is retrogration... so the possibilty is i guess slim. can i apply to other state so that i can have a license?. so i wont be taking again the test. it is possible? like endorsement something? iam not quite sure... please... thanks...

well, work in other hospitals or work in a facility... by then you earn extra money and your time wont be put to waste... go on for a masteral if you want...
