  1. i'm one of the nursing graduates who took the board exam last june 2008. and now there are a lot of rumors about the passing rate of the exam. some even say that only 30% pass:scrying: and that july 20 is the day when the results will be released. of course none of them are true so far but rumors like this increases my anxiety level and its so frustrating because you can't do anything but wait. helpful tips anyone? thanks.

  3. Hello! I am a nursing student graduating in March studying in the Philippines. I'm an American citizen so i don't need a visa. I do however just have a few questions regarding the process to practice as an RN in Illinois being a foreign graduate. In order to obtain licensure in IL it states that there are 3 requirements: 1)CES Report; 2)TOEFL; and 3)NCLEX. As soon as I graduate I'd like to return back to the States and work ASAP. Here are my questions: As an American citizen I know I need to take the NCLEX but do I also need to take the English exam being a US citizen? Is it true that I also need to pass the local board exam here in the Philippines before I can take the NCLEX? I'd also like to continue studying in the U.S.A. to become a CRNA but I don't know how to go about doing this being a foreign graduate?I'd greatly appreciate any reply/answer or suggestion of websites that might be able to answer my questions. Thank You and Godbless!
  4. Hello to all my fellow nursing enthusiasts! I'm a 25 year old male American citizen from Chicago studying nursing (BSN-RN) in the Philippines with 1 and a half semesters until I graduate. After I finished high school I worked as a pharmacy technician for almost 5 years and realized that healthcare was my calling which eventually influenced me to try something new and go to my motherland and study here in the Philippines as opposed to the States. I just have a few questions for those who might be able to help me out. 1st- Even if I'm an American citizen is it true now that before I can take the CGFNS or NCLEX boards in the states that I am required to pass the board exams in the Philippines first or can I go directy to the States after graduating and take the board exams without taking them here in the Philippines first? 2nd- Due to the current nursing shortage throughout the States. I am interested in recruiting Filipino/Filipina nurses to work abroad. I understand it is a long and tedious process. How do I start and could you recommend me any resources that might be able to help me out with my problem. I would be greatly appreciative if anybody could help me out or refer me to someone who can. Thanks and Godbless to all those who are serving humanity
