Visa Screen Certificate waiting time

If you apply for Visa Screen, and CGFNS verifies all your credentials and you have passed the English exam, and you then write and pass Nclex exam. Will you still wait 4 months for Visa Screen Certificate, after Nclex results are submitted?

I passed the NCLEX in march 04 and recieved VS aug 04. Everything was passed previous to passing NCLEX but I just had to wait to get the results recieved by CGFNS and OK the VS

Average waiting time is about four months, some nurses have received theirs in a little over a month, but that is not the norm.

Also take into account, that CGFNS doesn't receive your passing grade on the NCLX immediately.

I got my Visascreen 6 weeks after passing NCLEX. Don't know if this is the norm now, I know a lot of people waited 4 months.

I received my Visa Screen in 5 weeks. I applied for it after passing NCLEX and I got my ADN in USA. I think that is why it did not take too long because my transcript was from USA and I did not have to take English tests

Customer service told me that after everything is submitted, it takes 4-6 weeks to review all documents or the lastest required document is filed... My status is shown as "READY FOR REVIEW" for almost 3 weeks now.

If it has passed 4 weeks and they haven't evaluated my documents, I will ask my lawyer to go ahead and file the petition without visascreen. :angryfire ... Waiting for VS delaying the time for petition... do you think so?

I would go ahead with the petitioning without waiting for the VSC. The biggest thing is that you can prove that you have passed the English as well as the nursing exam, and can even print out that you are just waiting for review. The biggest issue has been with the English, many that have been petitioned, but have not passed English............they get 84 days to do so, or........

Hi 2 days ago i've checked the status of my Visa Screen and its says Certified how long it would take to be mailed to me i'm here in Saudi Arabia,after that can i get a sponsor hospital to work in USA? Thanks this site is great .More power to you all GOD BLESS

As long as you have passed either CGFNS or the NCLEX exam, you can go ahead with finding an employer. You do not need to wait for the actual certificate in hand to do this.
