Visa Screen Certificate waiting time

If you apply for Visa Screen, and CGFNS verifies all your credentials and you have passed the English exam, and you then write and pass Nclex exam. Will you still wait 4 months for Visa Screen Certificate, after Nclex results are submitted?

Customer service told me that after everything is submitted, it takes 4-6 weeks to review all documents or the lastest required document is filed... My status is shown as "READY FOR REVIEW" for almost 3 weeks now.

If it has passed 4 weeks and they haven't evaluated my documents, I will ask my lawyer to go ahead and file the petition without visascreen. :angryfire ... Waiting for VS delaying the time for petition... do you think so?

I am certified now. I do have not it in hand now but they just mailed it yester day. It takes 2 and a half week for me AFTER they recieve my "latest documents", in other words, after my status changed to "READY FOR REVIEW".

Although I submitted my transcript 2 months before. However, it took me 2 months to pass NCLEX and submit it to CGFNS. The clock starts when you submit ALL documents. I just wonder whether it will take the same amount of time if I just submitted all the documents at the same time.

Should be at least 4-6 weeks after they "received" your all your documents.

But I graduated from US nursing school... so they may take less time to evaluate my transcript...

As long as you have passed either CGFNS or the NCLEX exam, you can go ahead with finding an employer. You do not need to wait for the actual certificate in hand to do this.

Hello again Guys!

I see references to 'checking one's VS status', however I am completely unable to find my way around the CGFNS site!

You have to have an account set up with them, then just go to your account and you can find out all of the information.

Right now there is nothing going on to cause a delay like that. There may have been an issue with some of their documents, or the employer that needed to be sorted out first. What I am hearing here right now, even from Ying's attorney, is that they have had people come thru their office that now have received their green card within 6 months of starting the immigration process.

I have logged in on what is supposed to be my account but thêre are no paths to anything remotely resembling 'checking status'... Where exactly does one log on, where you have 'services' (!!!hehehee...) and 'products' etc... Sorry for being such a bother, Geena

If the agency has actually sent the fee in, some of the processing in now getting done in less than 6 months. There are some nurses from the UK that began the process in 2005 and are already in the US with a green card.

Hate to ask, but which agency is it?
