Vanderbilt Pre-Specialty Applicants 2014

Hey everyone! I couldn't find this thread anywhere so figured that I would start one for all of us who applied to Vanderbilt's Pre-Specialty Entry program (for non-RNs) this fall. I applied for the PMHNP specialty. What about you?! :)

I am PMHNP and I haven't heard anything yet...I am so nervous! Does anyone know if the letters go out for all pre-specialties by mail?

I am also PMHNP and haven't heard anything. I CANNOT believe it's only snail mail! That's ridiculous. I'm leaving for Nashville Wednesday am so I hope this letter comes by tomorrow!!!

Has anyone tried to call the admissions office? I'm a Vandy undergrad and applied to the PMHNP program. I assumed that we would receive letters today since they'll be coming through on campus mail...

I mean, are we allowed to do that or? I somehow got the idea that PMHNP would be notified later but I don't want that to be true. During the interview they said by March 1 right?

I'm leaving the country for two weeks on Wednesday :S Do you suppose they update your application status online as well so I can check that way?

I called the office and they said they were having trouble formatting/printing the letters because it is a new system, but they will definitely be sending them out this week!

I actually called today. They said the letters were going out later this week due to the new computer system, but they were able to tell me that I got in. I have a 3.8 GPA and 162/164 scores on my quant/verbal GRE.

Do they also inform us of any merrit scholarships?
