I was so excited to see this thread and then disapointed to see that there aren't any replies. I am admitted to the Pediatric Acute Care NP program and starting in the fall as well. My clinicals are local (I live in Eastern Michigan) and I plan to stay living in Michigan for the entirety of the program. Do you already have your BSN? Hope to hear from you!

I have officially paid my deposit for the Pedicatric Acute Care Direct Entry program and would love to hear from anyone else who will be studying any speciality from a distance. I'm a little nervous about the online classes and wondering if any of you have heard how it is. Thanks!

The best advice I received when I was applying: APPLY EARLY! Apply before the December 1 priority deadline and take the GRE as soon as you can!

I received an email saying my application status had changed mid week last week and my official snail mail letter didn't arrive until Saturday. I was accepted to Direct Entry Pediatric Acute Care. I was sort of disappointed by the small amount of information actually sent to us... I'm ready to get the ball rolling and order books, pay tuition, etc! Congrats to everyone on their acceptances :) Anyone still waiting, my application didn't update, it still said "submitted" so I actually had to view the application and click on "Application update" Any other Pediatric people out there?

I hope so. I've read this entire thread and I don't think I've seen any peds acceptances yet.... Maybe they can just accept all of us? :)

I applied to peds direct entry and my application is still under review too. I'm glad I'm not the only one, I started to think that meant they were just postponing telling me no!

Seconding what mentalhealthadvocate asked, are you guys calling your speciality or just the main admissions office? I'm so antsy. I just want to know before I leave the country as I won't be home to check my mail!

I'm leaving the country for two weeks on Wednesday :S Do you suppose they update your application status online as well so I can check that way?

Does anyone know when they usually make acceptance decisions?

Taking my GRE tomorrow and then completing my application.... Unless my GRE score is awful. Do you know what they suggest? Or what the average GRE score is?
