  1. I called yesterday about PMHNP and found out that I got accepted! The admissions officer was very helpful and nice :) As others have mentioned, she told me that letters will be going out in the next couple of days.
  2. Has anyone from PMHNP pre-speciality heard or called the admissions office? I think I am going to try over my lunch break today. I'm so nervous, but I just want to know! Congrats to everyone who was accepted and waitlisted :)
  3. I am PMHNP and I haven't heard anything yet...I am so nervous! Does anyone know if the letters go out for all pre-specialties by mail?
  4. Thanks for your post, Lexicon! I haven't actually taken many of the pre-reqs, which is why I'm only applying to programs that don't require having the pre-reqs completed by the time you submit your application. I will be taking A&P I and II, Microbiology, and Nutrition during the spring and summer 2014. I'm wondering if this will hurt my application prospects. I've taken other hard science classes such as cell biology and general chemistry since I was pre-med for 2 years, but I doubt the nursing programs will look at this.
  5. Hi everyone, I'm planning to apply to Vanderbilt's pre-speciality MSN program, NYU's ABSN program, Duke's ABSN program, and Johns Hopkin's ABSN program. I graduated from the College of William & Mary in 2012 with a 3.9 GPA and 1380 on the old GRE. I've also volunteered extensively and am currently working in a mental health hospital. Based on this information, can anyone tell me if I'm likely to get into any (and which ones) of these programs? I can't seem to find much information on acceptance rates and statistics. Thank you so much to everyone who helps!
