I'm in NY. Wonder how other NURSES are feeling about mandatory COVID vaccination?

I have read  “many” referring to nurses who are unvaccinated and or quitting due to mandates here and in the media but from polls and articles I have read from the last two weeks there are very few that quit and we have no nurses on my unit that are unvaccinated. When said and done hopefully that is a true and very small number.

It's okay guys, Just say you don't look at emerging data.

It's not "data" until it is verified.

Don't see anything aboout "verified" in the definition of data.

Data definition is - factual information (such as measurements or statistics) used as a basis for reasoning, discussion, or calculation

OK.  The key word above in the definition is FACTUAL.  Until the data meets certain standards, it cannot be considered factual.  There are standards for evaluating data.  I'm sure you are familiar with garbage in and garbage out.

Interestingly,  Pfizer is advertising their vaccine is safe for children 5 to 11 based on results that haven't been peer reviewed.

Yep, and it won't get FDA authorization until they review all the evidence. That's how that works.

FDA approval and the process wasn't the point but thank you for clarifying for someone that may not have known that. ?

That doesn't even make sense.

Listless-are you working at a vaccine mandating facility? If yes what will you do

I do. I smelled the unlawful gov't overreach earlier this year. So I started a family nurse consulting firm. Will transition to FT in matter of weeks.

I wonder if they'll use "suspected but unconfirmed covid-19 patients" again.

Olfactory changes can be a symptom of covid, sometimes the symptoms are prolonged.
