UW Transfer BSN 2019

Hello! I'm posting here to get any feedback from previous UWSoN students or current prenursing students who are applying for the 2019 cohort. A little bit about me is that I'm currently a student at OC in Washington, my prereq GPA for UW's required classes is about a 3.81 and my cumulative GPA is a 3.7. I have been working as a CNA/Medication assistant for almost half a year and will be continuing working until I move to Seattle for school. Any advice is greatly appreciated on housing, how to study for the proctored essay, and any way to better my chances! Thank you!

Oh my gosh, I keep going back to other cohort years to see when things were sent out. Freaking out a little bit!! Hoping we find out before the weekend, or honestly just as soon as possible!

Sadly I didn't make the cut! Congrats to those that did!!
I'm planning on applying to the BSN next January and ABSN this October, so hopefully I do better the next time!
Does anybody have any tips on improving your application? ?

Congrats to everyone that got in! I was denied, but I was accepted into Seattle University so it looks like I'm a Redhawk! Maybe I will run into some of you guys at clinical. Congrats again!

I did not get in, but I already accepted my spot at SU. I however have some scrubs and a small UW Columbia jacket that I had for anticipating getting in last year. If anyone is interested for a small charge. Hit me up ?

I just received my offer of admission!! Congratulations to everyone who also got in, can’t wait to meet you all!! Just wanted to tell those who got denied, please don’t give up or feel discouraged. I got rejected last year and felt so defeated. I tried again this year and now look. I’m happy to share my stats with anyone or just offer my support!

I got my admission offer as well!! I was also accepted to SU so I have to decide now, but I'm leaning toward UW for financial reasons. Of course its also in the top 10 Universities of the world! Congrats to the rest of our cohort, and to those who were denied I echo what others have said, keep trying, it is not easy, I have been working up to this for several years with past education and having to retake classes! keep working and seek any resources you can to continue improving your application!
