  1. I did not get in, but I already accepted my spot at SU. I however have some scrubs and a small UW Columbia jacket that I had for anticipating getting in last year. If anyone is interested for a small charge. Hit me up ?
  2. I got in as well! We should make a facebook group or something for all of us to get to know each other ?
  3. ahhh okay I finally see the updated date. Mine says 3/12 as well. this waiting is killing me! I get so stressed out all over again once the week starts. We could get the email any day now right?
  4. I have been so stressed waiting for a response. Everyone is talking about how they see a date for your application. Mine only says under review and doesn't show a date...
  5. @joskid Did you get in??
  6. Hey guys I just got a call from UIW for an interview. Just curious if there are any other out of state people applying for this program and if any one has any insight on what to expect for the interview. She said mine would be over the phone since I am out of state.
  7. @m.higgins5 yes you get scratch paper! I remember getting a few sheets last year and it helped to do some of the math on there but you also will have to show your work for solving the math problems on the main paper as well.
  8. @Bella2021 The percent problem from last year was a word problem. It was something along the lines of a blood pressure is this number and after getting a medication it was this new number. the word problem stated that if it was over 25% it had to be monitored or something like that but the actual problem specifically asked for the percentage of the drop in blood pressure. I hope this makes sense. it was a year ago now so I don't remember exacts anymore.
  9. @Bella2021 I took the proctored essay last year and there was a percentage question on it. totally threw me off since I did not practice that at all. So it is a possibility that it could show up again this year. I also got invited to take the proctored essay this year.
  10. Hey all! I had applied to UW SON last fall and got waitlisted due to the cut in the number of students accepted. I will also be reapply for the 2019 cohort. Hopefully they bring the number of accepted back up to the original 96!
  11. Has anyone heard anything about moving off the waitlist? I know classes start next week, it's getting close to the start of the quarter. Do we assume nothing is happening if we do not hear anything?
  12. Does anyone know when the people on the waitlist will hear about their position now that it is after the 23rd when we were supposed to let UW know if we wanted our spot on the waitlist, I'm guessing that was also the same day for the people that got in to accept or deny their letter.
  13. That's not fair they decided to change the amount of students let into the program without saying anything beforehand. It really sucks knowing that if they took the original 96 students pretty much everyone on the waitlist would have made it... Do you think they could still change it back and take the waitlist people?
  14. I got waitlisted as well. I thought they only waitlisted 15 people??
  15. I just found this thread because I got an invite to the proctored essay and was trying to find tips on what to expect! Congrats everyone else who got an invite and for those who didn't, don't give up!!
