@sm38 I applied as a post-bacc and I'm awaiting acceptance into UW as well. My understanding is that if you are accepted into the SoN you are almost guaranteed acceptance into UW. I remember reading or hearing somewhere that it's less than a 1% chance that you won't be admitted to UW after being admitted to the SoN and that usually has to do with a big error in your application.

And I haven't heard any updates yet on the timeline, but I imagine if they come out sooner than the 19th, it wouldn't be more than by a few days to a week or so. Almost there guys. @sm38 I am not sure actually. I actually haven't thought about it, but I can't imagine we would?

Does anyone know if we have prereqs in progress if we should submit our Winter quarter grades to UWSoN? I feel like the answer is No and that we only submit them if we are accepted. I did double check the application instructions, but didn't see anything on it and I wanted to check if anyone here remembers reading something about it.

Congratulations to the many invited to the proctored essay. I appreciate how supportive this group is and how willing everyone has been to share the resources they've found helpful. Hi All! I cannot believe I didn't know this forum existed until today! What a great resource for us to interact and support one another. It is also my first time applying to UW's BSN program. A little about myself: I earned a BS from UW a few years ago and after a career change, decided to begin working as a CNA to gain experience and decide if nursing was right for me. I have been with SCH for almost 2.5 years and not only love the organization, but love how supportive many of the nurses I have worked with have been in showing me what it means to be a great nurse. I feel so fortunate to work as part of a teaching hospital. The answer if obviously yes, I was meant to be a nurse. This past Autumn I returned to a local CC to finish my last few prerequisites and to retake a course that I didn't do well in during a rough quarter of my undergrad. I am currently taking A&P2 and will be completing Stats/retaking Microm in the Spring. I agree with several of you that it was very difficult to fit everything you wanted to say into the word limit for the resume and essay. I imagine that they wanted us to show them that we were able to follow directions and articulate ourselves well while still being direct and including relevant information. Has anyone found any great resources for preparing for the proctored essay? My understanding is that we will likely have one hour to complete 3 math story problems and the essay. I read on a previous forum here that they recommend you complete the math problems first, so that you can focus on your essay after. I would like to practice a few example math problems and essay topics to help ease the jitters. Please let me know if you have any questions for me or if you have found any examples to take a look at. Good luck everyone! ?
