UW Transfer BSN 2019

Published

Hello! I'm posting here to get any feedback from previous UWSoN students or current prenursing students who are applying for the 2019 cohort. A little bit about me is that I'm currently a student at OC in Washington, my prereq GPA for UW's required classes is about a 3.81 and my cumulative GPA is a 3.7. I have been working as a CNA/Medication assistant for almost half a year and will be continuing working until I move to Seattle for school. Any advice is greatly appreciated on housing, how to study for the proctored essay, and any way to better my chances! Thank you!

Late to the party, but I just wanted to congratulate everyone who got admitted this year! I'm looking forward to meeting ya'll in September! ?

For those who are interested in meeting with me to discuss your application and areas for improvement, definitely send me an email: [email protected]. My calendar has been filling up fast so try not to wait until the last minute.

@adri.aco I was told a couple of weeks ago that those on the waitlist will receive an e-mail from you about a week after the 26th, notifying us if we moved up on the list. I know if we are admitted, we will receive a phone call and e-mail, but I was curious if you've already made those calls or when it will happen. Thank you!

I haven't yet, but I should be moving it soon. You should receive an email within a week re: your current waitlist position. Thanks for your patience!

Has anyone heard back from UW about their University admission? I know they said between May and June but I was hoping they would make decisions a little faster for transfer students especially if we have already been accepted into the SoN programs! @adri.aco Do you know if there is any way to move things along with them and get acceptance info and student ID's out! I'm anxious to get my Castlebranch items completed and get things squared away... ya know!

We're working with Admissions now, so hopefully in the next couple of weeks!
