Hey guys Im making this thread so all of the applicants for UTMB Spring 2010 can follow each other through the process and help each other out! The application deadline is coming up soon! Goodluck to all!:nuke: I know they are only exepting 60 for the spring.

If I dont get into UTHSON and UTMB asks me to come to their program I will totally carpool. I live in the med center

Hey Everyone! Another update thats going to make everyone even more mad! I got an email from SON a few minutes ago saying that their AC went off and wont be working until at least Friday! They left their offices today at 12 and they said they wont be back in the offices until Friday at least! MORE DELAYS!

I live in NW Houston near Willowbrok Mall. Hopefully, there are others who live in this area too and want to carpool as well.

It's lucky they got some of those invitations out today...no reason they can't do interviews...when I was growing up ..we didn't have AC...y'all just get yourself some ice water and one of those cardboard church fans with the wooden handles and move on!

Thanks Casey. I will call them tomorrow and see. It's my turn to bug them, anyhow. ;-) I'll also try to find out how many apps they received for Bacc2 and how many for traditional BSN.

Ms Sealy your'e right its time to break out the plug in fans, let up the windows, and get ur done. Hell I'll even supply the water if it means getting it over with. Well on the bright side i guess it can't prolong the generic program cause they haven't even started reviewing us.

Hey! Congrats to all the people with interviews!

Is anyone going too have to drive from the alvin/rosharon/lake jackson area??

IF I get in...I will have to drive about 50 miles one way so if anyone is interested in car pooling from those areas let me know!

I hope they let us know SOON becuase some of us will have to get student loans and will need time to figure that out!

are u kidding me?Ok now it just seems like they are doing this on purpose.It makes no sense just because the AC went out they need to be out of the office all week?? what?!?!Like is this a joke,it's crazy!We're going crazy here just waiting and waiting.It's ganna take forever at this rate.

Hey guys, I am so glad to hear about those of you getting acceptance e-mails today. :yeah:Congrats to you all!!! I am a Generic applicant so I don't think we will know until November the way things are going. I did confirm the outage it is posted on the home page of the SON website.

The wait is nerve wrecking but maybe this gives them time to rethink someone they may not have given a chance. Like someone posted earlier, this may open up a spot for one of us. People are getting fed up and may decline on attending UTMB.

I pray that we all get it.

Good luck to all that have and will receive interviews. Please let us know all the details on how the interviews go!

Have you all heard?? Interviews have been moved to Oct 16th becuase of the air conditioner issue. UGH! That just means it will be EVEN LONGER until we all find out!
