Does anyone know about how much longer until we know about the B2 program at UTMB?? Im thinking this friday or next monday, but just wondering if anyone had any other info about it. Getting so nervous! Good luck everyone!!!

The lady told me in my interview that it is the way the tests are given. They are application questions rather than definition or straight fact questions. For ex., the answer choices might all be right but you have to know which one is the most important to do first! YIKES! It will be a while new way of studying for sure!

Hey everyone! I had my interview on Friday for UTMB B2 program and ughhh...i am so anxious now! They said we would know in 2-3 weeks. At the end of my interview she said she was very impressed with me and hoped to see me again in the Spring. BUT...I have a 2 yr old son and she expressed concern with me having a child and getting through the program. I am married and have family that live close by so I tried to assure her I had a strong support system and that I did not want to be held back becuase I have a child...but we'll see. Its really frustrating to me because yes I have a child, but my degree has been so hurt by the economy that I CANT find a job with what I have...so I NEED a more job-secure degree like Nursing! I didnt tell her all that...but anywhoo, it went really well other than the kid factor. Good luck to those with interviews to come and for those who are still waiting to hear!

I got an email telling me they had moved the interviews and that they would be out until Friday. possibly Monday.

Have you all heard?? Interviews have been moved to Oct 16th becuase of the air conditioner issue. UGH! That just means it will be EVEN LONGER until we all find out!

Hey! Congrats to all the people with interviews! Is anyone going too have to drive from the alvin/rosharon/lake jackson area?? IF I get in...I will have to drive about 50 miles one way so if anyone is interested in car pooling from those areas let me know! I hope they let us know SOON becuase some of us will have to get student loans and will need time to figure that out!

Hey! Ok, i figured out this whole generic vs. bacc2 issue! On the letter you should have received after you applied that has your "P number" and PIN, it should say Program - Nursing Generic - Accelerated Track. On the online system it will only say Generic, but look at the paper you got and that should make it clearer for you as to which program you are applied to. Hope this helps!

My application just says Generic. However, I know that I specifically applied for the BACC2. That is a little strange though that it says that.

Thanks! Ill post on Friday after the interview if they say anything about a second round etc. I doubt they can do everyone in 1 day...the interviews only go on between 8:30 and 4:30.

Hi! I have been following this thread and decided to join! I got an interview invite at 9:30 this morning from ***** ******. The email says its from ******,***** and not UTMB, etc. So be careful and dont miss the email!!! The subject line with say...BACC2 Interview Invitation-UTMB School of Nursing. Good luck!!! I hope you all get your emails/invites soon!!!
