The UTMB Fall 2019 application opens soon on November 15! Have you started on your essay or the TEAS preparation yet? I am so excited and nervous at the same time and have been stalking past threads on AllNurses.
Currently taking AP I and Microbiology and will be taking AP II in the Spring. I hope to take the TEAS by the end of December.
Please feel free to discuss your experience, stats, comments, etc.
Good luck to all of us! :)

I believe there are 132 spots for the fall semester. I don't remember if its the same for the other semesters. At the open I house I attended they said they usually have 700-800 applicants for the fall semester. There are fewer applicants for the spring semester, which makes it a bit less competitive, and even fewer applicants for the summer semester, in turn making it a bit less competitive than the spring.
I believe they come out in waves for all decisions (early acceptance, interviews, and denial). The first wave is usually around the end of February/beginning of March and I think the other waves take place every 2 weeks following that, at least that's what I've seen on past threads. I've also seen it mentioned on previous threads that there are maybe 4 waves. There are emails that go out later in the process, but I believe those are emails regarding being interviewed for wait list placement.

I don't think there's a specific day. I've seen the first round of emails go on the 13th, the 22nd, the 26th, and March 1st. We're almost there!
