UTMB FALL 2019

The UTMB Fall 2019 application opens soon on November 15! Have you started on your essay or the TEAS preparation yet? I am so excited and nervous at the same time and have been stalking past threads on AllNurses.

Currently taking AP I and Microbiology and will be taking AP II in the Spring. I hope to take the TEAS by the end of December.

Please feel free to discuss your experience, stats, comments, etc.

I haven't yet. I hate waiting, but I kind of hope I don't hear anything this week and that I'm just offered early admission the last week of February.

Now I'm thinking maybe last year was an exception, and that notifications will be closer to the 5th or 6th week after the application deadline.

Man it really sucks not knowing if it'll be tomorrow or 6 weeks from now!

Oh no! I do remember people on last year's thread talking about how everything happened way earlier than usual. I guess I just hoped it would stay that way lol I didn't even think to look back past the Fall 2018 cohort to see when everything usually happens. ?‍♀️

I attended the open house on Friday and they said that they were still receiving all the information from NursingCAS. I am not sure what the status is on that now though. I was also told that they had about 715 people apply and they will accept around 132. Hope this helps!

I called and she said there is really not time frame, we should start getting emails sometime before March so far away!!!

I was reading through the fall 2017 thread and noticed a lot of people mentioning they were being asked if they wanted to be in the summer program instead. Has anyone heard any info about that being a possibility for this time around?

I am not sure. They didn't mention it at the open house but I also saw that in the 2017 thread.
