The UTMB Fall 2019 application opens soon on November 15! Have you started on your essay or the TEAS preparation yet? I am so excited and nervous at the same time and have been stalking past threads on AllNurses.

Currently taking AP I and Microbiology and will be taking AP II in the Spring. I hope to take the TEAS by the end of December.

Please feel free to discuss your experience, stats, comments, etc.

Glad someone started this because I didn't not wanna be the person creating multiple threads at once haha

I have not yet taken TEAS or written my essay. I've been focused the last year on applying to UTHealth and Lone Star, and eventually I realized I could/wanted to apply to UTMB as well.

Once finals are over, I will get both done!

Unfortunately I don't have any healthcare experience, but I do have my BLS. So hopefully that'll look good on my application.

Good luck with your TEAS! I will be focusing on my application after finals too. And I need time to study for the TEAS before I take it because I have not taken AP 2 yet.

My stats currently are around a 3.8 for both Science and Prereq GPAs, and my cumulative GPA is around a 3.4. Those aren't as good as compared to other people, so I really need to do good on the TEAS!

I haven't taken Chemistry yet, so that's what I'll be focusing on. I'll need to buy a "Chemistry for dummies" book lol

I've applied to UTMB before, hopefully I have more luck this time. Your grades look good! Depending on your TEAS score you have a good chance at interview!

It turns out I'll be taking the TEAS earlier than planned due to scheduling issues. It will give me one week to prepare once my finals for this semester is over.

As of right now I have a 4.0 on all three types of GPAs. My target for the TEAS is to get at least an 85%. Makes me anxious since I have only a week to prepare!

Hello Everyone I am also applying for Fall 2019, this is question off topic, if you do accepted what are guys going to do about housing, I see they have dorms, but I do not know if they are fully furnished, I also been trying to look up for student apartments that are fully furnished but I seem not to find any in the Galveston area, what are you guys doing about Housing once you get accepted thank you.

Okay thank you so probably my best solution would be finding a student campus apartment either in Houston or a nearby city close to Galveston. If I do get accepted I will be coming from Dallas. so I want to find something close. Thank you.
