The UTMB Fall 2019 application opens soon on November 15! Have you started on your essay or the TEAS preparation yet? I am so excited and nervous at the same time and have been stalking past threads on AllNurses.
Currently taking AP I and Microbiology and will be taking AP II in the Spring. I hope to take the TEAS by the end of December.
Please feel free to discuss your experience, stats, comments, etc.
Good luck to all of us! :)

What!? I will go mad if it takes that long! Were they speaking fall applicants collectively? Did you ask any follow up questions? Btw thanks for taking one for the team.

Admission decisions and interview emails are two different things. Although some people will receive automatic admission or denials soon, most admissions decisions will be decided after interviews. Unless you specifically asked when will the first wave of interview emails be sent out, her answer sounds reasonable.

Haha sorry I failed y’all! But if anyone wants to call and ask specifically about first wave interviews, it’s really not that bad. I prefaced my question with “I contemplated calling bc I don’t want to be a bother.. but...” the lady who answered was nice ?

That's insane! And thank you for calling @emj19!!! I wonder if maybe she was confused and thought you were asking only about decisions after interviews, because I think they tell people they will get their decision 4-6 weeks after they've already interviewed. If you figure that interviews start around mid-March (about 2 weeks from now), and add waiting 4-6 weeks for a decision, then that would be 6-8 weeks from now to get a decision. Based on past threads, I think the only true "admission decisions" that would be given any time soon, would be for those who are offered early admission.
