So has anyone heard anything different about when the supp application will be coming out???

I just got an email saying I made it to the 2nd round after them viewing my teas score!!!! They said to be patient they are worki g on supplement applications... Does everyone get this invite after you take the teas or only people with good scores?! Cus I didnt feel very good about my score but now idk haha

I also just got the e-mail about moving on to the second round. I didn't feel too good about my score either... or my GPA... So idk.

I hadn't really been able to post here because of finishing summer school, but I have been keeping up with it. Seeing others' scores and GPAs kind of has me a little scared, I must say. :no:

Just got it too...I'm hoping it's good news? I wonder if they would make you write the essays if your GPA & TEAS weren't good enough....hmm.... Can't wait til this ordeal is over!!!

Yay!!! I got my invite to the 2nd round!!! I was also a little uneasy about my TEAS score but who knows...I also think the average probably dropped because of the new rule of the 1st attempt being the only 1 that counts.

I just got an email too! I'm also wondering if everyone who sent their TEAS scores got it as well...I guess we will see. Regardless, it's still exciting! Congrats everyone!!

Agreed! I'm curious to see what the supplemental application will consist of.

I'm glad they sent notices about moving to round 2 sooner than expected. It's so hard waiting...it's a relief to know we're still in the running at this point! Congrats to all & hopefully it won't be too long before we get the next email. The sooner we hit the next deadline, the sooner we'll know one way or the other if we're accepted. Until then....think positive thoughts, nurses-to-be!! :nurse:

At the open house they said the supplemental app would have essay question(s)...I can't remember if it's supposed to have more than one. Not sure what else they could ask that wasn't on the NursingCAS application...

Hi everyone!! I have never posted anything anywhere before so sorry if I am doing it wrong! So I was wondering how they look at our GPAs because my GPA from SAC is a 3.86 but I have bad grades from like 6 yrs ago that brought my overall GPA down to 3.38. My pre-req GPA is like 3.75. I am worried that those bad grades are gonna ruin my chances!!! I got an 88.7 on the TEAS but I am worried it won't be enough with my GPA... I did get the email about the supplemental test at least.

@WBAN... I also took the test downtown on the 15th! Congrats on your score!! Maybe we saw each other.

Well anyway good luck to all of you and hopefully we will ALL see each other in the spring!!

@Meg5G.....Your scores (GPA & TEAS) rock....congrats on the TEAS:yeah:. Were you sitting in the corner of the office waiting to take your TEAS and a few of us started talking right before going to take the test? I think you came from Austin? Anyway, refresh my memory on when we may have crossed paths. Yeah, I was the "older" person :) in the corner at the testing site waiting room. We were all so nervous, but ready to get it over with. I'm so glad that's DONE!!

I really hope I get to meet everyone who has posted on this site -- I want to meet you at the SoN!! I sure hope we get our 2nd round application packet before the weekend......(being optimistic)...I want to get the essays done ASAP and turned in so I can focus on the fall semester. I will be taking 4 classes (Nutrition, Lifespan/Dev (internet), Comp II (flex I), and Chem II) at SAC this fall and start Monday! BEST WISHES TO ALL:heartbeat.....PLEASE POST WHEN YOU GET YOUR NEXT EMAIL!!

Anyone else taking pre-reqs this fall....if so, at SAC....maybe we're in a class together? WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOO!!

Hie everybody! Just to let yall know I just spoke with the UTHSCSA SON admissions and EVERYBODY who took the TEAS test and submitted their scores got an email inviting them to the 2 round. So it had nothing to do with good scores or bad scores, there was no cut off. Also, for those of you who are worried about getting in with score of 87 or anything above 84 you should really stop worrying, it sounds silly for you to be worrying when your well above the average of 84. It also makes other ppl who made in the low 80's feel pretty nervous.
