UTHSCSA Spring 2012

I know it's a little early, as applications are due until July 7, 2011, but I'm excited already and want to hear from others applying for the Spring 2012 semester. Anyone submit their application yet or in the process of submitting?

I called up there today to find out when they are going to unblock the results and keep getting the run around. First I was told that the uthscsa does not release the results and was instructed to call ati. Well I called ati and they said when there is a block on it, it is the school that has the block applied and I need to contact them. Well when I called back they just tell me that they will have to call me back later. AAAhhhh...the suspense is killling me and I do not understand how some ppl that took the test found out right away and now we are having to wait what seems like forever. I just want to know already.

I live in Houston and had already applied to 3 other schools that required the TEAS, so I had already taken the test directly through ATI and Pearson even before the invites were sent out from UTHSCSA. I just had to have my ATI transcript sent to UTHSCSA after I got the invite. I'm thinking that the people who took it directly with UTHSCSA are the only ones with blocked scores.

It's still weird, but anyways that's how others know their scores already because they had already taken it for another school. I wonder why this school does that.

Did anyone who took their TEAS at UTSA take it at the Downtown location? I'm taking mine on Wednesday morning Downtown UTSA and am thinking I will probably have the same issue -- but hopefully NOT! Say it ain't so!

YAY!!! I finally got my score! I took mine Friday but I'm glad I didn't have to wait too much longer for my score!! I made an 81.3 on the test and that is a lot better than I was thinking! I was shooting to get above an 80 so I am ecstatic right now! :D I am really excited to move on to the next step.... the supplemental app. I'm really hoping I get accepted. Good luck to everyone!!!

CONGRATS emilaine:yeah:! It's always a relief to get your scores -- especially when they're better than you hoped, YAY!! It's weird that it took so long. I got the impression that when you take the test, once you complete it your scores are calculated immediately and show up on your computer monitor at the test site. Too bad sites are not consistent.

I have a test question for anyone who has taken the TEAS recently: Do they give you scratch paper to work out your math problems????? I am a gotta-work-it-out-on-paper person and am hoping they give you some blank paper to do this. If not, well, it will be more, ahem, "stressful" for me:uhoh3:! Thanks!

I took it at Downtown UTSA and got my score immediately.

They give a blank sheet of paper with a pencil.

Yes! I felt like asking for another one but ended up writing smaller and smaller as I was running out of space as I was too nervous to ask for another. I must say it's an intimidating testing site with cameras all over ceiling and a webcam in your cubicle. Also it's no problem, I like helping any way I can.

I haven't gotten mine yet. I'm assuming they're gonna send it out to everyone on the same day like they did for the teas invite. I'm really excited to get it already and I'm wondering when they're gonna send it because on the email about the teas invite it says they are gonna send out the supplemental app in early august.... I'm wondering what early means to them! lol Whenever anyone gets it, please let us know!

I am sooo relieved that there are others who have no received their supplemental app because I haven't got mine either! I'm thinking they will send them out on the TEAS deadline...not exactly "early" august though. Anyone going to the open house tomorrow??
