So I'm trying to see anyone is going to apply for UTA's AP BSN program the fall of 2017. I have been following threads and trying to get some information about how this program is set up. I did my application to the school last year for the Fall of this year. I'm trying to knock out my science classes, but I have withdrawal from my biology class 4 times and Im wanting to take my chemistry over the summer. Possibly doing my other 2 sciences with UTA. I haven't taken the Hesi A2, I plan to take that around the Fall. So, I just like us to update with each other and encourage each other to get into the program. I would do my stats, but I haven't taken gotten them yet. As soon as Im finished, I will post them. Everyone is free to post theirs
I just got notification i was accepted. I'm waiting on them to finish my degree evaluation plan. How long are the Patho/Pharm classes usually? Does anyone know if these classes will transfer to other nursing programs in Texas?
Patho & Pharm are both 12 week courses. They may or may not transfer based on which program you are looking at. I've had some schools tell me they just need my transcript along with a syllabus from the class to evaluate whether or not they will accept them. I've also had schools tell me they will not accept them and I must re-take them once I am in their nursing program.
I got a quick answer from TWU, they do not take patho/pharm from UTA as transfer credit. It's okay because by the time I'd be able to start at UTA (Feb. 27th), all of the patho/pharm classes have passed I guess until fall listings come out. the only class I'd be able to take Late February-March is the intro to nursing.
Hi everyone! I'm new to the forum world and submitted my first ever application for the Fall '17 AO program at UTA. I have a great (positive) support system at home but I figured this would be a great place to have real conversations with people who are walking on the same pins and needles. My GPAs aren't horrible but aren't fabulous either, but I'm also partnered... Ugh!
I'm hoping to receive good news in the next few months! Good luck to everyone here as well!
