UTA AP BSN program Fall 17

So I'm trying to see anyone is going to apply for UTA's AP BSN program the fall of 2017. I have been following threads and trying to get some information about how this program is set up. I did my application to the school last year for the Fall of this year. I'm trying to knock out my science classes, but I have withdrawal from my biology class 4 times and Im wanting to take my chemistry over the summer. Possibly doing my other 2 sciences with UTA. I haven't taken the Hesi A2, I plan to take that around the Fall. So, I just like us to update with each other and encourage each other to get into the program. I would do my stats, but I haven't taken gotten them yet. As soon as Im finished, I will post them. Everyone is free to post theirs

Thank you soo much for that information! I wish you the best in your journey through nursing school!

Hi, I am also planning on applying for the program in Fall of 2017. I wanted to apply for the Spring, but I just couldn't get all my sciences done in time. I am still trying to get all my prereqs done. This summer I will take AP I, Dev. Psych and Intro. The way it looks right now I will have to take Pharm and Patho in the same semester. I'm worried about this. My advisor said I can, but they strongly recommend taking Pharm first. :( I am currently a teacher so trying to get these classes done and teach is a little difficult. I just want to be done with the prereqs and in the program!!

I'm the same position as you I currently teach high school and I'm transitioning into nursing I plan on applying in December for fall 2017, I plan on taking the hesi2 this summer, so far I've taken professional nursing, technical writing, dev psychology and art this summer I'll be taking micro, ap I, and statistics, I hope to be done with my prerequisite by December with the exception of patho & pharm which I'm going to take at the same time as well.

I'm also trying to get in all my prereq. I still have my sciences to do ( I haven't been doing very good in Biology, this is my 4th time taking it). I really do wish you the best of luck and hope someone on here can help you out.
