hi there, I'm a spring 2010 UT houston hopefull, I'm trying to see who else is embarking on this journey so we can support each other. I really enjoyed tracking the Fall 2009 class, and I hope we can do the same. I still have a few classes to take. I am currently taking chemistry. As of now my science GPA is 3.33, and overall gpa is 3.61. I am taking the net in May.
Can't wait to hear from others.
I took mine Sep 11th so I am patiently waiting. The counselor at UTH said they were running another report this past monday for all the people that took it after the first so I am sure anyday now I will be getting a letter. I have a 4.0 Science, 3.7 Nursing, and a 3.5 regular... 97 Math and 76 Reading....so I am def. in the same bracket as those of you who took your NET earlier and got letters so I would be shocked if I didnt get an interview...it would just be nice to know already....rrrrrgggghhhhh. Also Toasterbell when did you get your letter? And could someone remind me how many people are being accepted out of the 250 interviewed
congrats!
a (dumb) question for those who already interviewed...did the sliding door throw anybody else off when they were leaving their interview? i was so nervous by the end when i was leaving i completely forgot that it slid and tried pushing, and then pulling, and after a few seconds i finally realized it slid! i hope the interviewer wasn't thinking "gosh this girl can't figure out how to open a door, she definitely won't make it here!"
hahahahahahaha....thats hillarioius..i will make a mental note. Would anyone care to elaborate more on the computer questions? My husband is in IT so if there is anything I dont know that they asked I want him to show me
They were pretty basic i.e. "How do you rename a file?" etc. The hardest one was "Have you ever unzipped a file? Explain to me how you went about this." Which is tricky to explain. There was one about podcasts too, like do you listen to them, if so which ones, and explain how you download and listen to one. I didn't know the answer to that, as I do not listen to podcasts.

I took the NET on August 22nd (afternoon, so no fire alarm). I got an 85 reading and a 90 math. As far as GPA's I've got a 3.647 prerequisite, 4.0 science, and 2.994 overall. That 2.994 overall I was sure was going to totally disqualify me.
