UT houston spring 2010 hopefuls

hi there, I'm a spring 2010 UT houston hopefull, I'm trying to see who else is embarking on this journey so we can support each other. I really enjoyed tracking the Fall 2009 class, and I hope we can do the same. I still have a few classes to take. I am currently taking chemistry. As of now my science GPA is 3.33, and overall gpa is 3.61. I am taking the net in May.

Can't wait to hear from others.

RothenNurse01, I'm sorry to hear about what happened. I was at the 1pm test and heard all about it from the three women administering the test. Talk about a stressful. Does anyone know when we will be able to view the scores from this past Saturday NET Test?

Spoke to a gentleman at ERI and they are providing 2 re-take days for those who were affected by the fire alarm during the NET test this past weekend. For those whose applications deadline is September 1st, they will have the retake this coming Saturday. They also have a September 19th retake date.

BTW - I had asked them to hold sending my scores to the Universities but they said they won't do that. They will send the scores regardless of the mishap. We should get our hardcopies in the mail by sometime next week.

Hi. Only you can answer that. I don't know what your plans or deadlines are but if you want to take it this Saturday or any other time, I would call ASAP. They will send you another permission letter via email right away and they will not charge you.

wow just got back taking the NET test and I did bad on the reading comprehension. I did the worst on the inferential part sighhh

I did pretty good opn inference but bad in predicting outcomes....how did you do in that section ?

I forgot what the exact numbers were but it was something like

7-7 main ideas

10-11 outcome

and something really bad on inferential it was a big difference. Honestly im not sure which question were outcomes or inferential, all I know was that my inferential scores were bad. How many times did you take the NET so far? Do you think taking it soo many times hurt your chances at applying to this school. And I am planning on taking it again this Friday or Saturday, whichever days they have available. Do you think my scores will make it in time for the Sept 1st deadline?

I've heard that interviews will happen late sept/early oct (or is that when the interview letters are sent out), so I'm guessing pretty soon after the deadline?

They will begin sending out interview letters in mid-September and they will continue through the end of October. Acceptance letters are sent out Nov 15th.

sorry this has me a little confused, will interview letters be sent out through the end of October? or they will conduct interviews through the end of October?
