UT houston spring 2010 hopefuls

hi there, I'm a spring 2010 UT houston hopefull, I'm trying to see who else is embarking on this journey so we can support each other. I really enjoyed tracking the Fall 2009 class, and I hope we can do the same. I still have a few classes to take. I am currently taking chemistry. As of now my science GPA is 3.33, and overall gpa is 3.61. I am taking the net in May.

Can't wait to hear from others.

Darnit, I made a 95 on the math but still not hitting the reading comp. Made a 65 :crying2:, somebody help me. Taking it again Monday the 24th last try and im done with the NET so sick of it

I made a 100 on the math and 85 on the reading also. As far as I know, they do not take the science or written expression portions into account.

Emag- I too, think you are over-thinking the reading section. I've conversed with all the regulars here often enough to say with some confidence that you're certainly smart enough to score higher on the reading portion.

I really hope so....thanks for the encouragement. I take it again on the 1st of September. I sure hope thats the last time. I quit crying over it and I applied to UTMB as well so whatever is meant to be will be. I prefer to go to school here given my house is walking distance but I will accept whatever I get at this point.

So emag UT said they will accept scores from pearson later than sept 1? Man I didn't apply to UTMB because they required patho but they said I could substitute for bio. But it was too late to apply once they told me

Hung-yes we can take NET no later than Sep 12th. UTMB accepts in the summer as well. So you wouldnt have to wait until Fall 2010 to start...just something to think about

Im new to the forum. I too am applying for Spring 2010. I've had all my stuff turned in since June with the exception of some uncompleted course work I will finish this fall. I want to wish everyone the best!

I agree.

You can't do the fraction problems with a calculator anyway, since using a calculator to work fractions gives you a decimal answer.

hey everyone, I know there is a 24 hour delay for updates on UT link, but I'm just wondering how long it took for your NET scores to say received after you sent them? I'm worried mine may have somehow gotten lost in the mail!

you dont send your NET scores. The testing center does. Mine posted in about a week.
