UT houston spring 2010 hopefuls

hi there, I'm a spring 2010 UT houston hopefull, I'm trying to see who else is embarking on this journey so we can support each other. I really enjoyed tracking the Fall 2009 class, and I hope we can do the same. I still have a few classes to take. I am currently taking chemistry. As of now my science GPA is 3.33, and overall gpa is 3.61. I am taking the net in May.

Can't wait to hear from others.

your "overall GPA" should include every class you have taken that was included on the transcripts you sent, so it should be all of your undergrad classes. the prereq gpa is only the prereqs

For those of you who took your exam last Saturday, 8/22, has it showed up in UTlink yet? Mine is still showing "not received", and I thought it was supposed to be there on Thursday?!?

It showed up this morning. It takes a day for the info to show up on UTLink. I can't wait to see how I did.

OK, so if it showed up there today, then UTlink should reflect it tomorrow? I was at the same test you were, so I just wanted to make sure they didn't send my scores to Siberia or something :-P.

Siberia, I don't think the women in the room would know where Siberia was. Was not the most insane situation? I felt like I was in 3rd grade or something. My head was hurting so bad after the test from the stupidity coming from their mouths.

Hehehehe... it was definitely an experience, I can tell you that. So, is UTlink showing that they received your scores, or did you call them? Mine still says "not received", and now that I'm looking closely, I see that they've got me listed under my maiden name. I sure hope that they realize that Loretta Montgomery and Loretta Diffee are the same person!

Hmmm, I would call them to make sure. My status on UTLink shows that they have received my scores. Do you know how you did on the NET?

Thanks! That was what I was worried about. I'm gonna contact 'em now. I have no idea how I did. I'm pretty sure I did well on the math, but I've never been able to remember the difference between a theme and a main idea, so my reading comprehension may be lower. Out of curiosity, what line number did you put down for the 1-minute reading test?

I got to 38, but I don't know that I actually comprehended anything I read :-P. I wonder if that's part of your score? How would they know if you got to 15 or 50?

They probably wouldn't know exactly where you finished within the minute. They go by what number you put down.

OK, so we're supposed to get scores by mail early next week or late this week? (and why can't they just email us? :-P)
