Yes I have classes to completer also. I asked at the information session do it matter, she said no they looked at everyone equally.

See I feel like super confident about my interview, i walked out of there best friends with my interviewer and the lady that walked me up there. I cracked jokes but got down to the business with the questions asked.

So If I get declined.....I'll be super super super crushed. Hey I dont know if yall know but MD Anderson has really good health science programs. A solid plan B, If nursing doesn't work out. Yall should look into them if yall r intrested.

Hey guys I'm right with you trying to stay positive about finding out about getting in or not...I'm about to GO CRAZY checking the mailbox every day and checking UTLINK!!! Well if anyone hears anything or your friend did get in let us know!! Yeah my friend that also had an interview called the school & they said they had about 1200 application & interviewed about 250 people but only 130-150 are going to get in which makes me so nervous. I know 150 is alot (being optimistic with the high end lol) but out of 250 it makes me nervous!!!!

Congrats to you guys that got acceptance letters to other schools already!!! I wanted to apply TWU but didn't get to take one last class I needed for them in time :( Well hang in there everybody, at least I think we'll all be bald when we start class LOL!!!

I hope it's 250. That's what the interviewer told me. I had the second interview date though so it may have changed. Has anyone heard straight from UT that they were interviewing 400+ applicants or has it been all hear say?

I had an interview, I still have one in-progress class so I don't know how that would affect me. UT Houston is more strict with your Ws and past low grades (no matter the reason! Even if you have legit reasons, another applicant with no Ws or low grades still looks better!) and I didn't feel SUPER confident about my interview, though I didn't do badly I think.

I did get accepted to TWU and I'm pretty confident that I'll be going there. When I got a letter from UTMB denying me admission even before they sent out interview invitations, I became pretty sure that UTHSC would not accept me either (since they both are UT, and both take your overrall GPA into account). If I do get into UT Houston I will probably still want to go to TWU. They are both great schools I am just happy that I got into a program!! But if I get accepted to UT Houston I'd probably have to do some research to reallyyy decide which is the best school for me. But most likely yall can look forward to a free spot (maybe, if they accept me, lol) at UT Houston!

Hey everyone.

I spoke to an admissions counselor and found out that Fall 2010 applicants UTlink status should be updated as early as next week. They haven't sent the list to the registrar just yet because they are finishing up with the Accelerated students. Everyone one should start receiving letters and UTlinks status updates really, really soon. So keep checking you status and stalking the mail man.

When did you talk to admission? I thought they would be thru with the accelerated by now. Thank you for the info.

oh my, I am not sure I can make it another week with this level of anxiety. I am starting to have heart palpitations :eek: I think this is going to teach us all a serious lesson about patience which is important to have as a nurse! I think I will use that as the silver lining for what we are all going through. Out of curiosity, did anyone else on this list have an interview date of Feb 9th? I had mine that day and wanted to see if anyone else on this thread was there at the same time.

i agree! another week is just going to distract me even more! as it is i cant even focus on school now! haha thank goodness there's nothing major going on this week..
