UT Houston Fall 2010 (University of Texas at Houston)

Published

Anyone here applied already?

Have you taken the NET exam?

I wonder how they invited people for interview

cuz I took my NET exam dec 19

so my ut link was completed after dec 19

deadline was jan 15

and I was in the first group to be interviewed

is that a good thing?

do they interview people they like first?

also today

they updated something

cuz if you look at the "GPA description"

it should be

"nursing prereq gpa

science prereg gpa

then undergraduate gpa"

now its

"science prereg gpa

undergraduate gpa

then nursing prereg gpa"

you think we will know by tomorrow?

cuz it seem they updated something

or all this anxiety is just getting me too much? lol

400 interview?

200 interview?

i wish it was 200 >.

if we dont find out this week

it will def be next week!

but at least 2 people in the "TWU fall 2010" topic who got accepted to TWU

said they will stay in TWU and will decline UT H

so that will open spots for us

also i think there are 2 ppl with the same situation for UTMB in the "UTMB Fall 2010" topic

i guess we will have to wait

I really want this!!!

I feel like maybe I should have done more in my interview or something

ahhh...

anyone actually called in to check when they will update the utlink?

btw anyone here that got accepted to some other school

will go to that school instead UT Houston and have already accepted?

i got accepted to utmb after 1st interview session

so i will definitely be in a nursing program no matter what

Well, even if I get in, I won't be going to UT H. My fiance just lost his job so I need to keep working for the forseeable future. I guess that will make a happy waitlisted person at Lonestar and probably one at UT. Now that I can't go I'm sure I'll get in!

So much for hard work paying off. Sigh.

Did anybody that had their interview still have classes to complete?

oh that suck wannabe

that should not be a reason to anyone to why they should not go to nursing :(

so are you still thinkin about it

or is it written in stone?

you are almost there :(

i just heard from a current student who has a friend

that already got accepted

she seems sure its generic

she will confirm it and will reply back to me

ahhh

I am in the process of taking 4 classes this semester and I have one more to take this summer. I hope that doesn't hurt me but they said it shouldn't affect your chances but I can't see how it won't if others have all their classes.

i have chemistry and AP II to finish

but im worried about my 5 hours electives

i dont know if im complete or not

will ask them if I get my acceptance letter

I still had 15 credits to complete, with 12 in progress this spring (2 history classes, nutrition & stats) and only fine arts to complete this summer. My interviewer didn't seem concerned about it.

Mjbayuda, I'm not stopping because I want to, but I simply can't afford to quit my job. My job is flexible to a point but I wouldn't even be able to make it at Lonestar. My fiance was going to pay some of my bills while I was in school... now I have to pick up some of his since unemployment isn't much.

MJ, that would be awesome-ness if you found that out. and if she did get accepted for the Generic Program Fall 2010. How the heck did she find out and not the rest of us lol I wanna know, im like practically bald and mail man wants to punch me in the face already, i ask him everyday.

KJenni: I was worried about that too. I have 3 classes left to complete...I hope it doesn't effect us! How do you think your interview went?

okay. so im not the only on....good deal. lol I felt that was holding me under the water for a bit.

Yes, if I get an acceptance letter I will be sure there is no other class I have to take. I got a transcript evaluation so I am sure my previous class were good.

IDK.....I have been second guessing myself about my essay, my interview, everything. I don't think I did horrible but I am just not exactly sure what they were looking for. I wish if I didn't get in, they would tell you why like your essay was bad or the interview didn't go well so I could know for next time. I try to stay positive but with how competitive it is to get in, it's hard not to be a little negative. I just hope we find out soon so we can start making decisions about the future.
