I took college Algebra because it was a pre req to take stats(which is a pre req required by UT) at Lonestar. I used it as an elective. I wouldn't have taken it otherwise.

Just to let everyone know in case you were wondering because I know I was. If you turned in your letter of intent and want to make sure they recieved it. Look at your status and where it says "provisional acceptance" under that it should say "Confirmation has been received from you that you plan to enroll."

I was looking at parking and I'm a little confused. They gave us a couple website for I guess contract parking?? I am not sure how it works. Does anyone that attends now use either the UT parking or TMC parking? How does it work and how much does it cost? What would you say is the best idea for parking? I really don't want to do park and ride but will if that is what everyone thinks works the best.

Has anyone gotten the packet yet? I still haven't... I was wondering if anyone who was not accepted at first, has gotten anything. I was also wondering if anyone has been waitlisted...... Going to take my drug test tomorrow. Did anyone go to the one off the south loop and if so how long was the wait? I am going around 2:15 P.M. Sorry about all the random thoughts. I am just curious.

I got the same thing after I completed my background check. I was clear so I'm assuming it's because I haven't completed my drug screening yet. Did you guys say you can go anytime of the day on the day they assign you because I have been putting off because I don't want it to interfere with my classes but if I can go anytime I will go ahead and sign up.

There are computer requirements on the UT Houston website I would check that out before I purchase a new one. I bought a new laptop a couple of months ago for school purposes. I'm waiting for what others say about bringing it to class everday because I'm unsure how they take notes as well.

I got my acceptance email as well. Mine said I was accepted to the traditional program so I guess I didn't get into the pacesetters program. I wanted to get the pacesetters but oh well at least I got in.

Hey Congrats to all that got in.@ the ones whose holds changed today, try not to stress out, I think everyone who said their holds changed yesterday, got acceptance today. I know it's hard not to worry about it though because I have checked my utlink twice today just to make sure it didn't change lol and for those of you who haven't got anything yet, keep the faith, I think they are still updating.

I was "granted Provisional acceptance"!!! WOOOHOOOO!!!!! I am so happy!!! GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!! Just had to let you know I thought my interview could have been better and my NET scores were low(idk what happened there) Stats nursing pre req - 3.777 Science- 3.666 undergraduate - 3.777 NET composite - 79 I took most of my classes at Lonestar cyfair.\:monkeydance::clpty::hpygrp:

@utaliz08 First of all Congrats!!!Second, did your status just update(recently) and if so did you check it earlier today???

Totally spelled ryhme wrong sorry....

I really think they are completely random or at least I haven't been able to see a pattern. People that have been accepted are all mixed up and not in alphabetical order and people who had some of the first interviews have got in and some with the last interviews have gotten in. I don't think there is any rythme or reason .

I wish my status would change. I don't want to get too excited until I know for sure but I think it has to be positive because why else would they go through the trouble to change your holds. Really hope I get in. Seriously I was moping around all day because I was sure I wouldn't get but I have hope now. I can say for fact that my utlink changed around 2:30 because I had checked my holds this morning(several times) and they still said just CPR and immunization so I guess they can change throughout the day.
