Where your status is, where it says "pending commitee's decision" it will change to "provisional acceptance." Which means you are accepted under the condition that you finish any oustanding pre-reqs, immunization records, & CPR by the start of class.

Hello,

My Mother-in-law wants to purchase me a stethoscope for my Birthday next week. She asked me which one I would like. I emailed the nursing department about which ones I could use after I was accepted I would be given a suply list. The problem is, she wants to order is ASAP. Is there any current UT houston students who can tell me which ones I can buy? I am looking at the 3M Littmann Master Cardiology Stethoscope. I was thinking of getting it in blue. Will this stethoscope be okay and do they allow it to be colored? Thanks to anyone who can help!

OMG thank GOD, my family, my interviewer, my future ut-houston family and you guys in this forum!!!

I FINALLY GOT IN!!!! (when i least expected)

"You have been granted provisional admission. Admission letter in the mail."

is what I got instead "Pending..."

I applied for BSN Generic, but checked the Pacesetter option in my interview questions paper

omg congrats! when did you have your interview? how were your grades, gpa, everything?! i'm still crossing my fingers and praying i'll hear something soon!

omg i got an interview! feb 8 11:30 am- meaning i will be skipping a few classes :/

1) nursing prereq. gpa: 3.53

2) nursing science gpa: 3.88

3) undergraduate gpa: 3.22

4) where you took the majority of your prereqs.: university of houston (tier 1 here we come!)

5) net composite: 86

6) net math: 93

7) net reading: 79

8) age: 21

9) medical experiences: unfortunately none- newbie :crying2:

10) first and second nursing school choices: ut houston, utmb or pvamu

11) unfinished prereg. classes needed to take: 8 credits- apii and chemistry

12) withdrawals or repeats (prereg.): none should have withdrew calculus and chemistry >.

13) interview date: feb 8 11:30 am

14) # of times net was taken for this school: 1 (first time i took it)

15) other info: seems like others have higher grades as well as experiences :/

i hope i get in!

anyone in the same interview timeslot and date?

are we suppose to call in to confirm out interview date?

i checked my utlink 5:30pm today

and saw my provisional admission

last time i checked with the "pending"

was yesterday at 8am

anyone else got in!?!?!?!!?

first i was worried about not getting in

now i am worrying about if this provisional admission

was just a mistake or a glitch cuz no one else so far is saying

they got in

ahhh

anyone who was interviewed feb 8, the first interview session,

got in?

i have to just wait for the admission packet in the mail

No I haven't checked mine yet but I had my interview later on the 17th so if they are doing it in chunks like someone said I'm scared to keep checking lol CONGRATS AGAIN!!!

:eek: Mine still says "pending," but I was interviewed Feb. 9th. Anyone from Feb. 9th received an update on utlink? Congrats to those who've been accepted!
