Does anyone know what UT rules are regarding visible tattoos?

You will probably have to wear long sleeves under your scrubs or if it is small enough to cover with your watch or something... It depends exactly where it is, what it is, and how big it is. But most likely the long sleeves thing... That's with any job you get afterwards also. That should only apply to clinicals. For classes they shouldn't be as strict but I'm not sure.

Congratulations!!! That is so exciting! Now I am freaking out! I just checked my UT link but it still says pending.. That could be because I interviewed on the 3rd to last interview day. But now I'm going to be checking constantly!

Yes, natatat is correct. You will need to cover up the tattoo with long sleeves or a watch when you go to clinicals (and for the rest of your nursing career most probably) to look professional. Other than that, you should be good! :)

Hey guys,

The answer to your question about utlink updating if you don't get in is "No", if you don't get in it just continues to say pending....Sorry if that isn't what some of you wanted to hear. Hopefully with any luck we will all start finding out more in the next few days.

Close your eyes and pray everyone...no matter what the out come remember always give the glory to God and praise him even if his answer is no! Take it from me, I didn't get in last semester and I am still very grateful he is in charge.

I got interviewed on the 9th of Feb. Anybody get accepted from their yet?

I've decided to not check the UT Link and just the letter come to me whenever it comes.......All in good time. If its meant to be, if not take another road.

BUT I WANNA GET IN BAD! I Left an athletic scholarship for this dream!!!

For those of you that have applied previously and didn't get in......Did you get a letter in the mail and if so what was the time frame? around the time people started getting accepted, shortly after or a few weeks? I just was wondering if you didn't get accepted about how long it would take to find out for sure. Thanks

And also I have read on previous threads that people were accepted shortly before school started because people drop out for whatever reason. I was wondering will they tell you if you are an alternate or waitlisted? Just in case some people decline acceptance.
