Congrats to everyone that has gotten in so far!! To those of you who haven't heard anything, don't give up hope yet! UTLink will probably be updating for the next couple of days!

Oh that's strange.. My class all found out via utlink first. It must be different for the fall and spring.

You won't get an email until after your UTLink is updated... that's what you guys need to be checking. UTLink is always the first thing to update. I think my email came like a week after I found out by UTLink.

Delgadido: The person I know had an interview the 2nd time as well.

There are people in my class that this was there 3rd try to get in...

Delgadido: That's exactly what I was trying to say! The people with the 4.0's got interviews but that doesn't mean they got accepted. In my opinion, if you meet all of the requirements you will most likely get an interview but after that the school really looks at your interview and writing assignment for your acceptance. jpet101: The class I am in is extremely diverse and we all come from very different backgrounds. The common thread we do have is that we are so eager to learn and we all have this need to help others. I love the class I am in. We all lean on each other for support and everyone is so nice.

jpet101: Honestly there is just no way to know. I was one of the students that had a 3.4 gpa and got in whereas there were people I knew with a 4.0 that didn't. If you meet the overall criteria to get in you will most likely get an interview but after that, I believe it is all based on the interview process and how well you do on that.

I walked out of the interview feeling pretty good.. But I also think that depends on who you get as an interviewer. The person that interviewed me made me feel really good and was extremely nice. I know some people that were very intimidated during their interview and were nervous coming out of it but still got in.

No problem. If anyone has any questions I check this pretty regularly.

I found out about a month after my interview and if I remember correctly, I was in one of the last groups to be interviewed.

Hey guys! I am a first semester student now. My UTLink changed about 2 weeks before I got an email or an actual letter in the mail.

I got mine a couple of days ago but I accepted an offer from UT Houston.

For our class we had to take the NET. They are incorporating the hesi for Spring 2011 applicants but I did have to take it for another school. I just bought a nursing entrance exam study guide from Barnes and Noble... I think it is by Kaplan and that worked pretty well for me.

Saphirebutterfly: my utlink was updated a few weeks ago and then I got an email like a week after that at the beginning of April.

I got my acceptance letter today too!!!
