UT Houston (Fall 2014 applicants)

Hello Future Nurses,

Wanted to know if anyone was preparing to take the Hesi a2, and or applying to UT Houston before the Jan. 15, 2014 deadline for Fall 2014???? I would like to form a study forum!!

So has anyone else had an answer yet? My little application status thingie just says "complete". I got into TAMUCC, I am just waiting to hear back from here so I can figure out where to send off my deposit.

Haha it's not completely random because you definitely have to be qualified to get into the program. I just hope the odds are in my favor!

Well, as you know they throw out everyone that doesn't meet the gpa and hesi requirements, but other than that I think it's the only thing that makes sense as to why people with 3.5 average GPAs are getting in before people with 3.8 GPAs.

No there is not. Unfortunately I don't get my $200 utmb deposit back :(

Once we accept we just do all the immunizations/ certifications/ drug testings before orientation and that's all?

Have you guys received your acceptance letter in the mail? (Hard copy?) they said I should receive it no later than April 4, and it's now the 7th. But I also had a problem with not being able to accept/decline.

I haven't received my acceptance letter. I would call the school and let them know that you can't accept/decline bc the deadline to is the 11th I believe.

It's already been resolved, actually. :)

The accept/decline link. I just figured that maybe that was why I had a delayed hard copy acceptance letter. :p I'm just waiting until the 10th to accept in case UTMB decides to actually accept me within the timeframe they told me. (it will be 4 weeks on thursday)

I'm still waiting on my hard copy too. I think it will feel more real to me once I have that packet in my hand. :)

Every day the mail comes with no letter, I go a little more crazy. :D
