UT Houston (Fall 2014 applicants)

Hello Future Nurses,

Wanted to know if anyone was preparing to take the Hesi a2, and or applying to UT Houston before the Jan. 15, 2014 deadline for Fall 2014???? I would like to form a study forum!!

Hello, I am a student in my second semester at UT-Houston and have been following this thread for awhile and wanted to put my input or help answer any questions that I can!! For those of you already accepted, congrats! This is a great program and ya'll will love it. To those of you still waiting, relax a little, they do acceptances in waves. I started last fall (2013), and we had people find out in March, some more found out in April, some found out in May and some even found out as late as June. I sounded a lot like most of you a year ago, I was constantly checking my email and worrying about every little detail, but my best advice is to just RELAX :D!! God has a plan for everyone and if you are supposed to end up here then you will! If not, then there is something in His greater plan for you. Also, the stress ya'll are feeling now is nothing compared to the stress of nursing school ;) lol! But I am happy to answer any questions or concerns! Just send them my way!!

Hey everyone! I already received my acceptance letter to UTHSC but i'm still waiting to hear from UTMB. I will probably just go ahead and accept UTHSC, just because I believe they have more to offer. With that being said is anyone looking for roommates? haha.

Well, I just opened my rejection letter in the mail! I've already reapplied for Spring '15 so maybe I'll see you guys next semester.

If I don't hear back from utmb then I'd be looking for housemates. But I come with a kitty and a husband. ;) As I won't be working we will need cheaper rent than we are currently paying.

Bad news here for me :( I am devastated and will spend the night bawling. But gonna keep on trying. Does anyone have any tips on the TEAS V? I will be attempting at UTMB also. Good luck all.
