UT Houston (Fall 2014 applicants)

Hello Future Nurses,

Wanted to know if anyone was preparing to take the Hesi a2, and or applying to UT Houston before the Jan. 15, 2014 deadline for Fall 2014???? I would like to form a study forum!!

Just got another transcript eval today.....that makes three so far and all showing the exact same info. I think they are randomly sent??

Dude one of my buddies im in the program with now got a call from the school a week before class started to come in. if you haven't heard anything hold onto hope

I am in the same boat. Received my rejection for summer last week but nothing on fall! It's so stressful!

Are these denials that are going out for the fall semester? I received a denial last Friday, but mine was for the Summer semester (which I applied for both summer and fall). I have not received anything concerning the fall at all yet.

I think the ones that are going out are for summer right now. I got accepted into the fall semester but just now received the denial for summer. hope you hear good news soon! good luck!!

I just received my denial letter. It's strange since I thought I had a good chance with my stats. I wish they'd specify what they thought was lacking!

I'll be applying for the next slot and to UTMB. I'll take a look at some other schools as well. I least I got some closure and I can't initiate my next battle plan!

My friend said that when you get declined to go to med school they expect you to call and ask how you could improve your application for the next time. It shows you want to get in and improve yourself but also shows humility.

I'm not sure if it's the same, but I'd probably do it. :p

I received my rejection letter Tuesday, and what came in the mail today?? Another Trascript evaluation... Thank you UTHSC I know I have a 4.0 science GPA and a 3.81 prereq GPA.

Hey guys, well I have just received an email stating that I did not get in but that I am on the waitlist. I guess there is still hope for me. I still have not received a transcript evaluation, and I would love to get one lol. Congrats to those who did get in and to those who didn't don't give up it will happen.
