My ct was a 790 and I got in, but my learning and personality profiles were kinesthetic/global and creative/leader in case that was a difference. I honestly don't know exactly what either school looks for because it makes no sense how people can get into one but not the other.

I haven't received my acceptance letter. I would call the school and let them know that you can't accept/decline bc the deadline to is the 11th I believe.

I honestly do not know. Maybe there is a computer behind it! I submitted my application December 17th. Maybe they are going through them by submission date?

I saw the stats you were talking about and think that may have been an error. At the info session they said they throw out all applications that don't at least meet the minimum requirements. Don't lose hope y'all! We only have 48 in our Facebook group and some of them are upperclassmen! :)

I did not see someone with that low of stats get in, but if I remember correctly, applicants needed to have 8 of the 16 science hours complete to apply - being 2 science classes, not 3.

This was my first time applying. I did end up receiving a transcript eval dated the same as my admissions hold on 03/17.

Hey y'all! I have been accepted to UTHealth and decided that is where I will attend! For those that are still waiting to hear from UTMB, stay patient and you will hear something soon. And if you end up being wait listed - don't give up! Whenever I went to the info session, the students who spoke said that they were issuing acceptances the day of orientation! Congrats on being accepted! I believe everything for a BSN spring 2014 and after is now the pacesetter...which is the same time length with a different distribution on when classes are taken and the majority of the clinicals are in the final semester.

My prereq and overall is 3.81 and science is 4.0. I never got an eval so this is coming from my current transcript. I also scored a 92.8% on my hesi with a 790CT. I was worried bc my critical thinking is lower than a lot of people's, so if yours is low too, don't worry! It's not all about that! I'm also having issues with my uth in that my status is the same and I cannot accept.

I didn't get into the honors program at utmb. I was one of the ones that interviewed for it, though and was given a partial scholarship for every semester. They never said how much the scholarship was though. I wouldnt really say one or the other is a top choice-I want to be able to make a decision if I am accepted at both to eliminate any "what ifs" I might've had if I had just accepted admission at utmb just bc they took me first and not even looked at UTHealth. There are many things that have swayed me from utmb to UTHealth but I wouldn't say my mind is fully made up yet. Obviously being accepted at UTHealth is a big part otherwise I don't have even have a choice lol!

Lol I did already accept utmb, though I am still waiting to see if I got into UTHealth so I can really decide which one if I am even given the option lol. I accepted just in case I didn't get into UTHealth so I didn't lose my spot.

Mine is still incomplete and I have the admissions hold. The April 15th date is what I was given as well for when acceptances/denials would be out...which is 3 weeks from today.
