:rotfl: Hi all! I went for my interview today at 9am and was successful and was out by 10am.I took my 14yr old with me as she had to do her fingerscan and sign her application form.
Got to embassey early(was there for 8am and went in at 8.45am) and was ticket no.1 for immigrant visa.(so get there early) was called within 10 mins, got to the booth, imm.officer(man) checked file and original documents(please put them in the order stated in packet 4)and make a copy of all documents for immigration to keep, we signed our photos, paid the excess $45 fees(as fees had gone up since April) and then went back to seats, and waited for our names to be called.10 mins later the second imm.officer(man) then took our fingerscan, asked me what type of nursing i would be doing in the USA and basically told us that we had our visas, what the procedure is at the airport in the USA once we arrived(temporary green card issued-full green card sent/given after3months) it was over in 15 mins. He said welcome to the USA and we joined the queue for the courier service. I am soo excited now:p , i called all friends and family and am off to relax now. I wish everybody "Good Luck" in their travels. I'll keep in touch when I reach to Naples,Florida:)
