University of Texas at Arlington Fall 2020 Cohort

Published

Hello Everyone!!

It is finally my time to post to this forum! EXCITING!!! I did not see a thread for Fall 2020 and I might be SUUUUPER early but man that nursing application process takes proper a year doesn't it?

I am done with all my general courses and TEAS except for nursing chem, one elective (health and human disease), Patho, Pharm, and Intro to Nursing. I plan to take CHEM 1451 and HEED 4312 in the Fall 19 semester, apply in January, and then while waiting on that, take Patho and Intro to Nursing in Spring 2020 and Pharm by itself in Summer 2020.

I have an A in Micro, A&P 1, and A&P 2. This has been a LOOOONG journey and I cannot wait to start!

okay thank you so much. I just need my hep A titer. I had it done when I was a kid but I don't know where my "official" records would be. I've used the high school records for everything and no one had an issue with it until now.

I hear you...dont know why a high school vaccine is NOT official?! But if u had it you should be immune and a titer should show it...

I scheduled an appt with my PCP tomorrow morning. Hopefully they will have the results by the end of the week haha. I will be devastated if for some reason it shows not immune

I got my titer results in less than 24 hrs. the health center at UTA uses LabCorp or some big lab....u migt wanna ask how long s gonna take em and if more than 24 hrs do it directly at a lab....try that

I use walkinlab all the time for different tests..cheap and fast...most results come next day some specific take longer...

Just make sure you tell them that you have to have it by the end of the day Friday I’m sure they can get it fairly quickly since it’s just blood work and they send it to a lab which takes about a day or two at the most. And when I had mine done my doctor just emailed me the results and I printed it out

My mom was actually able to dig out my old immunization card. It has the immtrac stamp and I guess immtrac number on it? Do you guys think that’s official?

Specializes in Pediatrics.

Hello everyone,

I am new to this site and need advise. If I can switch my application from AO BSN program to campus based, then do I have more chances to get in? I have no considerations and score is 8. Please please suggest me.
