  1. does anyone know if the graduate nurses will wear the same color scrubs as regular staff nurses?
  2. could anyone tell me what color scrubs you guys wore for the residency? is it royal blue?
  3. So far I've received an email regarding a background check and an email about the offer that includes the position and pay.
  4. I got an offer for NICU IV at TCH last Thursday
  5. I was able to find plans for $0 also. I went through ehealth first and it told me I have $276 in subsides to apply towards a plan. It depends on your income. I ended up going with a $55/month plan that has a $200 individual deductible.
  6. Study the RRDs, do a few hours every day and make sure to take breaks so you don’t burn out. Do not cram! There is too much info it won’t work. I liked watching her recorded lectures even though it was just her reading through the RRDs. I took notes while I listened and then during the week before the test I rewatched the lecture vids on 1.5x speed and followed along on the RRDs.
  7. Yeah it’s June 1st I believe it’s under the “inplace compliance” module on canvas
  8. Yeah that's what I meant thanks for clarifying. So technically if you get a C the overall GPA will go down which means your total points go down. I wouldn't try to just make a C if the total points is already low.
  9. Split them up, take patho first then pharm. Intro to nursing is easy so you can take it with either one. Make sure you aim for an A if you're going to take it before applying because they will take those grades into account.
  10. I don't know the specific items but based on what people are selling on the facebook groups it looks like items that you'll typically see in the stock room on the floor. gowns, gauze, etc just to use for practice I guess. I'm waiting until the official J1 booklist comes out before buying any of that stuff just in case they change something.
  11. I read somewhere that it has to be through american heart association. I don't remember where I read that from but I'll try to find it
  12. I can see both sides. Yes it’s unfair GPA wise but they look at other aspects as well. And also it’s not like you have to get a full time clinical position in the partnered hospitals in order to be considered partnered. They take any pay stub from the hospital so you could be a PRN cook and work once a week or something and be partnered.
